Bad analogy. Benatia's natural position is cb, despite being a terrible defender so he probably still is better than Claudio at cb, who also no striking qualities that make a CB. As things stand however, we have a midfielder in Sturaro playing as full back, if we are going to gamble then we might as well put Cuadrado. A winger is always easier to convert into a full back, look at Zambrotta as an example.
Guardiola converts mids into CBs all the time, i dont see why wingers should be easier to convert into RBs than DMs into CBs. besides, we already have 2 RBs besides Stu. then there are also Howedes and Barza, so we have a bunch of players who have RB as their natural/secondary position already

He certainly doesn't dribble on the run that much anymore. He usually has to come to a complete stop before he tries to dribble now
I think this is mostly because he now faces teams who defend as groups against us, and finds more problems in front of him that cant be solved by kiklcking the ball and sprinting.

Yeh you can have those players with the title of RB. The problem we have now is that some of them are not up to par or are injured.

We are not much of a counter attacking team. You even saw this last Sporting game, how much his teammates messed up passing to him while he's running on the counter.

This guy would have so much space to run with if he played with GOAT level Pirlo...

Exactly, and 36 Barza is hardly the type that can go back players anymore; Caudrado can. I don't think Allegri has tried it yet because he sees more use in him in midfield at the moment, but this could easily change if Costa goes on a good run.

Pjanic could set him up :agree: we just don't try to play in that manner

Yes, but come on, we get enough of them over the course of a season, and you rarely see him beat players on the run like in the video you posted.

Still faster than wonder boy Costa btw.
Let me stop you there. I'm no big fan of Costa, but you're wrong on this one buddy.

we should play Marchisio at CB from now on

is way better than using two near retired players and someone like Rugani who lets be honest, is not better than Marchisio
:agree: I was thinking of this the other day. Could Marchisio turn into a CB a la De Rossi? :boh:
