Looked in the mood tonight. You can usually tell early on how he is going to play.

His close control was even better than usual, if we were more adventurous in our tactics I think he could have been more effective. Good game.

What is impressive is to see him compared to past couple of seasons, i'd really say Cuadrado is one of those who improved the most, not only that he gained muscle and is a stronger player but his decision making is what i'd like to point out, he is always looking for a smart pass to open up space and not just running like a headless chicken towards the corner line just to make a cross, nowadays he holds up the ball well and always informs hisself of who's around him, shows a lot of experience in his game and if he would just cut off some of those divings at the wrong times than i'd dare to say he could be considered one of the best RM's in the world right now when in form... He is inconsistent at times but than there are games when he really impressed and vs Milan is one of them, great game played by Juan!

My oppinion is not based just on tonight tho, the guy really puts a lot of heart everytime he plays and i'd say he deserves way more respect rather than criticism from us for what he brings to this team not only on the field but off it aswell, great character to have in our team.

Our 2nd best player tonight: 2 crosses, zero goals, zero assists...only 2 key passes.

Only real positive was his 93% passing success rate.

Keep applauding zero productivity from our wings.

Costa gets shit on with two assists. Cuadrado praised with nothing

Moments. His entire career here IMO is about moments. Rarely do you see consistency from him.

Like I said with Mario...I will give both of them mega props for the effort they put in defensively and tracking back but that's about all they get today. They have so many "chances" to cross and get the ball in the box but for whatever reason become timid.

How often do you see Cuadrado shake n bake a defender along the line around the center line but rarely as he gets closer to the box. It's like he freezes.

There is a lot more to football than statistics. If you are going to focus on them you need to take into account that the tactics today weren't exactly looking to play attacking football and 93% is a pretty high passing average for a winger, especially when he was making a number of passes near our box and under pressure as we were sitting so deep.

He had a very good game. His ability control a slack pass with a defender on him in dangerous areas, or winning a free-kick when we are penned back or keeping calm when we are closed down to pick out Dybala etc. with a good pass allowing us to keep the ball are all huge factors in relieving pressure when the opposition are pressing high and why he is getting praise.

He has improved an unbelievable amount on this side of his game and this is why he is playing the big games.

Like I said, he beats his man around the midfield line all the time...but when its one v one on the edge of the box, why aren't we seeing more guts to try and make something happen (we all know he can do it)? Its so easy for him to beat a guy, why doesn't he do it more around the box is what I'm asking? You say there are a lot more to football than statistics, but mention a statistic.

And yes, I do like his ability to draw a foul but is that really something that deserves a "great game" tag?
