I think that your middle formation would be more interesting if Dybala and Cuadrado switched sides to cut inside and shoot more often.

We've significantly weakened the squad.

Just imagine this team with Pogba. Dear god. Even without him, if we make a smart DM move, this firmly slots us alongside Bayern, Madrid and Barfa. Followed by the rest of Europe. A lot of Cuads attacking play witll cover for Pogbas loss, because I can see Allegri use him in a free roaming role as part of a 3 man mid.

If we played a 442 with Cuadrado, it would need Asamoah/Sandro & Evra on the left for it to be balanced - no way Pjaca and Cuads are going to be wingers together in a 442:

Allegri never played Cuads and Sandro as wing backs at the same time as he felt he needed either Lichsteiner or Evra on one side to balance it out. So there is no way he would do that when there are only 2 center backs because Alves is better going forward then he is defending.

evra is 35 and slow! i don't know how much longer he'll be able to continue in what is a physically demanding position but sandro's definitely a starter for us.

Evra is VERY fit for his age and is suited to being a left back but perhaps not a wing back. Hence I suspect Allegri will have him as first choice in a back 4. You just know Allegri.
