It's almost as though our coach should have had the foresight to rest a guy who is playing every 3 days, in the middle of an Italian summer, in a role where you run constantly.

Honestly, it has been clear that we have needed to rotate over the past few games. Yet our one rotation has been in goals. Lecce and Torino were prime opportunities to rest guys, never mind one of our most crucial players (whois carrying a yellow).

How he could rest him when we didn't have a single FB on the bench?

A good coach would think of something. What if he had been injured?

We were 4-0 up v Lecce and 4-1 up v Torino. Even if he decided to start those games he could have changed it when we were cruising. Move DeLigt to RB and give Rugani minutes (which would have helped today). Or Danilo at RB v Torino and Matuidi LB. Or change formation to 3-5-2 mid game or use one of the under 23s.

There are options there particularly when you have a healthy lead in games.

Yeah, we really fucked up by loaning out Pellegrini. It left us with no backup left backs. On the right side, we have a converted right winger, a hospital patient and a clown. And two of those three guys have to cover for Sandro when he isn't available.

He seemed gassed and also Rebic is tough to defend since he’s both strong and very fast. Rebic against a tired defender is a bad idea. Especially when there is only Rugani and Bonucci behind you. Rebic against Rugani and Bonucci is like a bowling ball against pins.
