Juventus have almost concluded a deal with Catania for Uruguayan winger Jorge Martinez, but both parties are still haggling over a fee.
The Bianconeri have made it their No 1 priority this summer to stock up on players capable of providing a threat on the flanks.
Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Juventus' general manager Beppe Marotta met Catania's directors yesterday evening.
Catania soon laid out their demands, asking for a straight €15m cash payment at which point Marotta asked for 48 hours to think about it.
Ideally, Juventus would like to agree a transfer worth between €12.5m and €13m, which would be paid in installments, much like the deal for Simone Pepe earlier this month.
A move for Martinez would almost certainly signal the end of talks for CSKA Moscow's Milos Krasic who Juventus feel is being priced out of their budget. [/FONT]
