absolute scum. even his so-called sponsorships are scam.

Page nine of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how the Bianconeri have suffered a painful financial impact from their failure to compete in European competitions this term, with sponsors like Jeep (from €45m to €38m) and Adidas (from €52m to €46m) paying less.
so your culprits are not uefa and figc who fabricated a case, but the sponsors who pay less for less exposure

brilliant

this is how this club will bounce back right? with an owner who is syphoning money from the club in every opportunity instead of pumping it.

also if there was a ploy, their main target was not the club itself but andrea agnelli, and john elkann is the one person who would love the name of agnelli and all their collaborators erased from the business altogether. guy himself just burned this club down in order to oust previous residents in 2006.

you probably missed the fact that the club received 3 capital increases in the last few years. aggregate amount is ~900 millions, the latest 200m just arrived

that maybe makes up for the 7m that didn't arrive from jeep's directions

The financial scandal is just the cherry on top. The main culprits are within. Agnelli, Tici and Nedved who destroyed the club with irresponsible decisions.

Ronaldo leaves and then you get an anti-football guy like Allegro who's been talking about how Juve 'can't always win' for the last 3 years and you end up getting less money from sponsors.

he is playing transfering money from one pocket to another. this club's activities in mercato are miserable. it does not even have a president.

jj has been mismanaged, but that's a different story

just a reminder, turk threw a tantrum over some 7m missing from jeep while ignoring 900m from the capital increases of the last few years. 7m ffs, it's not even 1% of the money the club received from the owners

also the club lost that 7m only because of a personal witch hunt from ceferin & gravina

Ronaldo leaves and then you get an anti-football guy like Allegro who's been talking about how Juve 'can't always win' for the last 3 years and you end up getting less money from sponsors.
:sergio:

it's because the lack of international football. less exposure = less money. that's how contracts work.

'Lack of international football' for 1 season. Even with 'international football', we got rolled over by your Maccabi's and Benfica's.

But yeah, keep believing three years of complete stagnation(no results) doesn't have anything to do with contracts.

With these contracts I dont think it has. But any sponsor when drawing up a contract will condition number of official games per season, some tresholds. Less games means less money. Its pretty standard.

These are multi-year contracts. They are hardly decided based on 1 year without Champions league. We've been poor for years, that's a fact.

Inter and Milan in their banter years were getting poor deals because of lack of CL AND lack of results.

JJ for years had good financial results through results on the pitch. We added Ronaldo and secured the biggest sponsorship deal in club's history. But after covid, it's been all downhill. These last 3 years of nothingness made it worse.

It's a combination of all aspects that we're getting bad deals.

Did we renegotiate a new deal? If the current deal, the one we signed few years ago, didnt expire, then missing 1 season of European games is exactly why we will get less money this year. However all that you have said will come into play when current deals expire, unless we pull ourselves up in the meantime.

Isn't this supposed to be the new deal?

Or am I missing something?

so we lost money cause we were poor, simple as that. i see now.

just out of curiosity, how do you think it works in real life? jeep and adidas execs are watching the matches, and one day they decide that watching allegriventus hurts beyond their personal thresholds, so they pay less? is it fully subjective? or is it based on the possession numbers? the amounts of points lost against teams with a smaller wage bill? what is poor exactly, is there the kpi for it according to your expert opinion?

of course sponsorship deals depend on the number and quality of matches the clubs play. cl is the most important competition. if you don't participate, you'll get paid less.

confirmed here: https://www.calciomercato.com/news/juventus-nuova-ricapitalizzazione-da-200-milioni-di-euro-31316 last paragraph is enough to read, don't hurt yourself too much. this article quotes the same gds article that turk's fi quote referred to.

Keep your condescending opinion to yourself. You're really not funny.

Bad results will lead to bad deals. I was initially under the impression that the deals were re- negotiated but it makes sense that we're getting paid less in our existing contract for not participating in CL this year.

My underlying point still holds true. Another 3 years of terrible results, shit football leading to declining market value of players and we'd probably have to settle for reduced income from sponsorship deals.

And when I say 'we're poor' , we have been poor on the pitch. I am speaking purely in terms of results. Of course, that flies over your head as usual.
