Did you actually did any math before writing all of this?

Higgy goes for ~60m (that's our minimum)
Morata has to go for 60-70m (that's their minimum to not record a loss AFAIK)

Where do you find the money for SMS here? Swapping Higuain for Morata shouldn't even be considered a sideways move.
Yeah basically read below. There is a lot that goes in to some of this stuff that we dont really talk about and honestly dont understand(me included). But I do know there is a reason for a loan with an obligation and that is to delay payment over more time and in that case I think we could possibly get Morata and also have some money left over for SMS. PLus getting two mids(one is free) we can technically sell two to have the same numbers. I would be surprised if there wasnt some big movement this summer. I think our future is with Costa and Dybala and also Berna down the road and getting away from Higgy and Cuads and Mandzukic. Having said that its the right time to offload if we can to get money. I dont like our selling policy and am not defending it but I do know that it exists so I think we will see us cash in on 3-5 players this season that are somewhat regular players and also a few youth players that we dont see good enough to update and strengthen the squad.

I think he will but as backup.
he said recently hed like to play in the EPL? you dont say that unless youre considering the possibility imo. but id rather keep him than Matuidi, tho selling Sami now and Blaise next summer makes more sense financially i would think

it doesent work like that, someone explained it a while ago. if we sell Higgy for 60M, we free up enough on the books to be able to afford SMS. i wish i bookmarked that post now, but if whoever explained this is reading, please do again :)
thanks

if Morata is a loan + obligation then we can squeeze both under this seasons budget i guess. which would leave us with covering the cost for Cancelo and maybe another mid like Golovin (tho unlikely we sign both him and SMS). but we also have Buffon, Asa, Licht, Khedira etc off the books, Marchisio maybe too

So now we assume that Chelsea will pay us 60m for Higgy while loaning out Morata? It's a pipe dream guys. I know it fits the agenda but it's highly improbable. Chelsea might as well keep Morata and say a big fucc you to us which is actually very possible at this point.
Sarri would get out of Morata a lot, they aren't under any pressure here. Plus, nobody included Morata's cost + wages in here. If we're getting Cancelo and Golovin we'll be at ~65m spending spree without wages.

I'd like to have SMS here too but sacrificing Higuain alone won't cut it here. Someone else will have to go and for big bucks to make it all happen.

They might or they might not, we don't know at this point. What we do know is they did such moves with us before, so expecting them to do it again is valid. Also what matters to me is that we know we can afford SMS with Higuain, reason enough to be all over him

Can this weekCancelo next weekGolovin the week afterMorata/Martial if when we sell PipitaAnd that will be our mercato. Gianluca Di Bauzio
Awesome, another year down the drain by keeping our midfield at the same level which will get destroyed by top teams in the CL, even inter with all their financial problems and possibly Roma/Napoli will have better mercato. I hope this is not true.

Sami was our 2nd best mid this season, what are you on about? and yes from a financial perspective, selling Khedira now vs losing him for free next summer is a no brainer. for Matuidi if we sell now for say 20M, we make a loss, if we do it next summer then we dont i think

As far as wages go we will end up ahead even with Cans big wages. No buffon,Khedira/Matuidi.Marchisio,Higgy as well. We are cutting a lot of over paid players with this mercato

I know its a dream but its not insane. There will be changes to be had and players will move. I think we sell someone to make a move if need be. Do we get Morata? Maybe not but I do think we will have a revamped team next season. Do chelsea make dumb moves? Yes thats a fact. We have a lot of players to reaise money if need be and we can make that happen.

Plus we dont really know how we structured some of the deals.
For instance we bought Pjanic and Higgy with buyouts which mean we payed up front. Did we get a loan? which we owe on or did we have that cash? If so thats not currently being payed on so higgy going for 60 could be netting us 20 mil a seaon for 3 years in payments plus his wages which are around 15 mil a year. Thats 35 mil a year to spend now. Sms could be 90 plus 4 mil a seaon with 3 installments. Thats 30 mil a season plus his 8 mil in wages. As you can see it looks like a huge difference but its only 3 mil a season if those numbers are correct. Is Higgy paid off? we dont know.

But its a huge numbers game that we dont really know

He definately was! Thats not a great thing but its the truth, We need an upgrade but sending the guy he replaced packing isnt the best idea unless its a must to provide funds for the upgrade
