Cash can be spent more wisely somewhere else or better yet not at all. I use to like him but he just runs cluelessly and sometimes manages to flukishly dribble 2-3-4 players

Menez is great. Last season he had 8 goals and 14 assists which is amazing. This year he has 7 goals and 9 assists (so far).

However, this move only makes sense if we're converting into 4-3-3, which doesn't seems so.

Wow.

That's almost as good as Giovinco
This is what always happens:

When it's not about numbers comments are that we're not effective enough.

When it's about numbers comments are that it's more about what certain somebody offers on the pitch.

Let me rephrase that, though. By great I mean effective and somebody that can change the game, despite of his flaws (brain, mostly). IF we were to change our formation to 4-3-3 and if we needed wingers, I'd surely try to sign someone much better. I do like him as a player though.

You started the Menez while Osman started the Ryan Gosling thing.

Menez and Gosling look alike?
You look more like Gosling, Menez you only look like in one picture (that pic Alen found), but he will be forever linked with you anyways. I would love us to sign him solely for to see his Rabih thread in this forum hehe.

Btw, I would actually still sign him in general, if its a good price (10-13m or so), he was a clearly skilled but total waste of space without end product at Roma (if you check old threads, while he was in Roma, he would been the last winger I would want us to sign), but he has been absolutely fantastic at PSG, mainly last season, 20 assists in the full season, all of them with sheer uncanny movement and penetrating runs (he is the boss of low crosses/cut back passes around the box), defenitely could use his style and skillset (only if 4-3-3 is an option ofcourse). Since he is a rotational player now in PSG I think we can find a good price for him.

Stats alone isnt everything, since someone like Armero had 10 assists, but yeah Douchen is fairly spot on how much he has improved as a PSG player, grown into pretty impactful and dangerous winger.

Yes to Menez especially since he will be free.

I don't see us getting anyone better anyway since all the good wingers out there would cost too much.
