I can tell you that my legs and feet are itching all the time. Each time I read a new article about it, I get goose pumps.

Triathlon you say? I am really interested as well but I have to take a crash course in crawl, I am really bad at swimming, I get exhausted after 500 meters.
It's addicting right? I never used to be into this stuff except being into running but now that I'm thinking of actually aiming to do a competition I can't stop myself from constantly reading about it all. I bet once you finish the race you'll be thinking of the next one.

Everyone I know has a hard time with the swimming if they were runners or bikers first. I thought it would be the easiest part for some reason until after I watched a friend participate in a Ironman competion. Now not so much. I'll just say for me the swimming is the one I put off the most but need the most practice in.

You said it, addiction.

I have actually three other runs this year already planned and paid for.

JCK, whats your goal? What time do you hope to beat? Maybe under 1.45?
I'm new when it comes to running, I started running regularly in September. The fastest I have run was the seeding race for Göteborgsvarvet, it's 10,5 km and I made it in 50:12

Lately I am feeling a drop in form but I know the cause to that and I can easily fix it, it's two weeks to the race and form can be gained easily.

So to be realistic, I am keeping my first goal as my only goal and that's to complete the race running all the time. My secondary goal is to make it less than two hours and with that I will be extremely happy. Anything more than these is just an extra bonus.

As for next year, we can talk more about 1.45 and the like.

Ok, I thought you've been running for longer than that.

Anyway, good luck.
