Running stories:

I had planned a complete run last week that was interrupted and postponed and cancelled because of pain in my legs and feet. I didn't want to risk a major injury that would stop me from running, I'd rather run without reaching my goal than not running at all.

But today it was totally different, I had to run because I haven't done any training at all last week (except for one intense session) and because I want to see if I am in good shape. So instead of doing a test run for the distance, I tested everything else, from my running technique, to my breathing, to my clothes, equipment and accessories.

I managed easily a 10 km run with a steady heart rate at 82 - 90 %. My running steps were totally controlled, the fall, the speed and movement.

My muscles felt good except for my left calf who has been hurting for quite a while now.

I tested the Juve jersey which felt good but I had to tape my nipples because I am not used to the material. The short tights are just great but I will be using other socks than the ones I had today. The ones I'll be wearing have better pressure points on my feet and they are stitch-free at the bottom which makes a nicer feel.

Last but not least I tried an energy gel which really works fast and my body accepted the material just fine so I will be having a package with me that I will drown at the 12 km mark I think or maybe even wait for the 15 km mark.

I don't think I will do more runs until the race but I will work on my nutrition and my sleeping hours, so now it's past bed time.

Stay tuned.

I don't know who hasn't put any money, it doesn't really matter. The money will be given away anyway.

I still don't know how should I give it away.

I thank all those who donated, it really makes me more motivated.
