It seems more likely he will stay in Barcelona now, even for a weaker salary.

Anyway what loyalty does he owe to Barca. They have been shipping him out on loan eversince buying him as a wunderkid with half of Europe after him. He will be around 29 when his next big contract opportunity comes up. There is no guarantee that he will be enjoying as rich vein of form as he is on right now. From financial perspectives, Saviola should make most out as he can with this deal.

Having said that, it is nice to see a player realizing everything shouldn't be about just money, and taking wider perspective in life. Full kudos to Saviole.int:
