Out of all Zigic, Saviola and Bojinov I'm certain it would be in our best interest to keep Bojinov. Saviola is a good player who could do well just about anywhere, he's just made a wrong career move in Barcelona. I wouldn't mind getting him, but only if we don't keep Bojinov, which seems to be a-shoe-in sadly.

He's still only 25 and yet to show his true potential, we could use him for years to come, though the main stumbling block would be his wages I'm afraid..

Lets just keep Bojinov, ok DD? :D

Who, Saviola? In DP's position with Trez, or someone similar to Trez if we sell him. Saviola is good technically and can create chances as well as score.

If you mean Bojinov, I think he can play both as a box-striker and supporting forward. He's strong, has good positioning, excellent shot, eye for goal.. He's not a direct replacement for neither Trez nor DP but I see him as a all-around striker that can hold his own in pretty much most roles..

spot on man!

I'm impressed by Saviola but to pick him ahead of the currently not so fantastic Bojinov still leaves me with a headache. A free Saviola IS a great opportunity though.

I know it is from triball, but some Dutch sites say it also so I guess we can forget about him:

Barcelona chief Txiki: Saviola will receive contract offer
tribalfooball.com - March 20, 2007

Barcelona sports chief Txiki Begiristain has confirmed Javier Saviola will soon receive a new contract offer.
He said last night: "There will be a good offer and it won't take long for him to make up his mind."

Asked about Barca's interest in Boca Juniors striker Rodrigo Palacio, Begiristain added: "He is a forward who is already ready to play in Europe. But I'm not going to say if we've signed him."

supposedly we have tabled him an offer. While I like him i am not sure he would do well he and am not sure what DD would do with DP and Saviola ..

I would see him doing well at Inter with Ibra although he might be able to do well with Trez ... alternating him and DP?

I think Bojinov will leave in the summer so Saviola might be a good pick up .. i rate him high and he is better and more experienced than Bojinov

we can pick him up, and them sell him to inter for 20m next year! haha
I don´t believe Inter is that stupid. If they want him, they will offer him a contract now while he is free. If I´m wrong, they really are a bunch of morons.....

i don't know guys what are you thinking about Saviola ..... i think that DD will not change his plan 442 and then the proposed position for him will be a Forward, in that position there is already Palla and DP and actually, with leaving Trez, we need a finisher player rather than Forward or supporting striker....beside that, Saviola will cause some distabilizations in the team coz him, DP and Palla will fight for one position and all of us know that with only Zlatan and DP we had enough problems .....
