Isn't he already in that sort of team now? I mean, minus Ilicic, of course.

And your usage of the world investment isn't clicking with me. You only consider proper investments to be assets that have already reached their prime? I can't say that makes any sense.
Yes, he is in that sort of team and that's why he hasn't impressed me yet.

Not necessarily reaching their prime but more like being consistent with his performances. How can someone pay so much money for someone who has played his first okay season? I mean it's not a fabulous season he's having but more like a good one. If his price tag is around 40-50-60 then it's a risky investment.

But you've gotta admit, Vucinic is just about as inconsistent, if not more.

Lots of young players are inconsistent, especially if they play in mid-table clubs. Watching Pastore this year, I'd say he's consistently threatening, and that's a good sign.

Juventus put together Pastore deal

Juventus are planning a complicated €40m bid for Palermo starlet Javier Pastore this summer, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Already this year, Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has said that Palermo is a “very expensive shop” thereby intimating that a deal for Pastore would be beyond the club.

However, Il Corriere claims that Juventus will try to reduce the player's price by offering several players either in exchange, on loan or in part-ownership.

The report suggests that Juventus will offer €20m in cash plus Amauri, Sebastian Giovinco and Raffaelle Palladino in a colossal deal.

Juventus apparently feel Pastore is the player capable of bringing the glory days back to the club after the dark days of Calciopoli.

Unlikely, but if Zamparini accepts this, I will personally go to Sicily to kiss his hand.

Seba himself is on his way to be worth 20m, its too much. But sure, I'd love to see them pull this one off.

Thing is though, I can't see a way for both him and Krasic to play together unless we use 4-4-1-1 cause I don't think Del Neri is ready to get too far off his comfort zone(4-4-2).

Who says we will have Del Neri?
