Asamoha's Bitch !

After last 3 games i think he is not worth more than 25 mln E
And Krasic isnt worth 5m based on his performances on 2011 for us, see how that works? :p

But either way, Pastore wont go for more then 25m unless there is a genuine bidding war for him.

Hahha yes man u're right but , krasic is tired he is playing 2 champions'ship (Russia,Italy) with no rest ?! Isn't him ?!!

I really like Pastore but his price :frown: , i hope Palermo will countinue like this , and would be easier for Juve to get him if there wont be any team like Barcelona,Real M,City,United,Chelsea after him .

TBH Marotta tried to get the right mentality of players, turns out they were weaker mentally than he bargained for.

Plus the entire club has a loser mentality that is near impossible to shift without a drastic change.

Those who were going to 'spit blood, champions or not', to quote Buffon. Turns out they haven't all done that, but the problem is deep rooted and goes back beyond when they arrived.

Players who lack real quality are too often stereotyped to be "fighters" or hardworking mentality, just for the heck of it. We should worry more about quality players before proper mentality, especially since alot of quality players are so partly due to their winning confident mentality. Or if not, get it when they are in a top team (ala Zizou with us).

Like Pastore? The only thing he has proved so far is that when the going gets tough he gets the fuck outta there.

Personally I'd like players who are 8 quality and 10 effort, rather than 10 quality and 5 effort. We have too many who are 7 and 7 right now.

Younger players learn that through experience, especially in top team, how to work hard and give your all.

But essentially quality >>>>>> Mentality. Especially since the supposed mentality players we get are provincial level mediocre players who have little clue about being in a team with winning aspirations.

To a point, yes. But a hardworking team can often beat a team with a huge difference in quality, as we see in numerous cup competitions. The perfect team is made of talented players who work hard, you only have to look in recent years. Look at Barcelona, they have excellent ability but they work very hard without the ball (jokes aside, Jack). Look at Mourinho's Inter, he even managed to turn super skilled players into workhorses to create a great team unit.

'Winning aspirations'. Does that mean that players who aren't super talented do not want to win? What about players like Gattuso? Proven winners are just that, players who have won things. Saying because a player is very talented they have more aspiration to win is basically ridiculous. As we can't afford proven winners and/or they won't join us right now we need to find younger quality, as you say, but also the team players to compliment them.

As the whole club is infected with a poor mentality I don't know how individuals are even picked out from this mess. All that happens is that people see skillful players and non-skillful players, they think the skillful ones are the ones that need saving and the the ones who aren't skillful are the problem. I could run through each player's thread and point this out, but really we have deep-lying problems as a team. In an alternate world with a Juve used to winning, 'crap' like Pepe and Marchisio would compliment guys like Pastore. As it is, they are the first to draw criticism. Even Krasic isn't free. Well, he's not that skillful after all.

Bottomline is, even if we are in shitty spiral of poor mentality, our ISSUE is our players arent quality, majority of them are average/mediocre. I worry first for to get quality players, then for their menality.
