The one thing Pastore has in his favour is that he's suited and adapted very well into Serie A. Very few players who play in the position he does can adapt, look at Diego for example. There really is not the risk with Pastore considering he's already tearing up the league week in week out, will Dzeko and Neymar do the same? that's the only worry with both of them.

What I like too about Pastore is that he doesn't exclude Dzeko.
We bought Amauri from Palermo for 12.8m eur+Nocerino+half of Lanzafame and now Zampa says that he'd accept players in exchange (which was imo expected).

Giovinco's price is falling down and Parma already have a right to buy his half for 3.5m (?). We won't be able to sell the other half of Giovinco for more than that, but in an exchange deal his price will grow up to 6-7m for the other 50%. We have lots of younger players that we don't need at all and we can't sell them for much. Put as many of them as possible in a deal for Pastore. Like Inter did for Milito when they bought him from Genoa. They bought a 25m eur player for 5m+ youngsters worth 20m eur.

Sounds like a plan. But I do think he could end up with Jose.

Del Neri said second striker is where he'll play and I think he can do it excellently. Like Kaka was doing from time to time in Milan. It was giving him more space and got the best out of him. Pastore won't be restricted to the box (like our second striker is when we play Iaq-Amauri in attack). He will keep playing something between an attacking midfielder and a support striker. Look at it more like a 4-4-1-1, with Pastore having something like a free role.

Also, someone as young as Pastore should outlive Del Neri and his 4-4-2 in Juventus.

Del Neri said he'd play him like Doni at Atalanta, if I remember correctly like you said Alen he pretty much had a free roam. The good thing this year we have alot of movement in the team and also a midfielder who is capable of passing( Aquilani ) Pastore could slot into this side and be very effective.

Hmm, I don't think it's the right way to look at things. The 21 year old Kaka cost Milan 8.5 millions even if he was a world cup winner before he joined Milan. There are probably tons of examples with quality south Americans who were sold for more and yet did worse than those sold for less. Also, players peak at different age and the advertising of a young south American plays a big role in the price.

that is true. Same could be said about Zidane for example who peaked later in his career. But Both Kaka and Zidane proved themselves in the biggest stages before they were sold for huge sums. Pastore proved nothing yet to deserve such a crazy :money:.

As for the comparison between Pastore and Aguero i just wanted to point out the difference between the two players (who both played in the same league once).

Aguero was held as the biggest talent to come out of argentina back then. Same could be said about Ronaldinho at a certain time in Brazil or Neymar these days. Not the same can be said about Pastore who was a decent talent but there were pretty decent number of players who are probably in a similar level.

Pastore needs time to prove that he really have turned out to be a huge talent. Waay to early to say that now.
