Del Neri said second striker is where he'll play and I think he can do it excellently. Like Kaka was doing from time to time in Milan. It was giving him more space and got the best out of him. Pastore won't be restricted to the box (like our second striker is when we play Iaq-Amauri in attack). He will keep playing something between an attacking midfielder and a support striker. Look at it more like a 4-4-1-1, with Pastore having something like a free role.

Also, someone as young as Pastore should outlive Del Neri and his 4-4-2 in Juventus.
Considering our strange 4-4-2 with Marchisio filling the left spot, Pastore will make everything look like a 4-3-3 or a 4-3-2-1 anyway.

The biggest advantage I see in Pastore is the non-EU player from within the league which means we cans still go for another of our targets (Dzeko/Neymar). If they are potential targets that is.

If we don't finish top 4 we'll not see P from Pastore, Dz from Dzeko nor N from Neymar. We'll settle with more mediocre players, so let's not get hopes high just yet.

Presents starts with P ;)

Seriously though if we get Champions League, new sponsor, more TV revenue and new Stadium money and sales I wonder what our budget will be.

Javier Pastore's Palermo proclivity will be banished to the margins of a €70 million transfer bidding war between Real Madrid and Barcelona at the end of term.

"Until the end of season he will play for Palermo. Despite my interest for the club and player, I am already looking for his replacement," president Maurizio Zamparini told Tuttosport.

Zamparini confirmed Pastore would be leaving in the summer and said he will move abroad.

"It will be impossible to find a replacement because he is too good," he added.

"Also, I feel it will be difficult for an Italian club to buy him. His price is already high at €70m, he will move abroad."

His elaborate price tag has excluded Inter and Juventus, to leave a shortlist of two clubs - Madrid and Barcelona, who are both interested in him.

Betting on the transfer is a huge gamble for Zamparini, but one which is guaranteed to pay dividends - 10 times more than what the Rosanero paid for him last year.

You can't deny Pastore's talent, and there is no acclimatization required, the only thing is the difference in pressure between playing for Palermo and Juventus. Some can't handle it.

Zamparini would clearly accept exchanges, after all he uses them to beat us with every season...

Zampa is a frickin assclown dude.. Barca won't have the money to buy him, why don't they buy Fabregas for three times less? Real Madrid won't take him either.
