According to sports.it udinese have finally agreed to Juve's latest offer: 4 or 6 million + Giorgio Chiellini(this is probably a co-ownership deal, as I can't see us selling him yet) for Jankulovski.

Sports.it are writing it down as if the (also) long Jankulovski saga is over!..

I think it is a good deal, not much at all, but i simply cant see what use there is for him. Zambrotta is best as a LB and Capello insists that he will continue to be a LB end of story. Use the money on Bonera.

Mutu and Jankulovski were desired players by me, now we only have to sign one or two defenders (depends on who will go)

It is 4 or 6 million Euro's though and not pounds.
Yeah, but it's the co-ownership of Chiellini I'm not thrilled about. If it was a loan than OK, or if it was a primavera player. We did pay 6 mil € for him you know, that was a rip off in itself. I really wanted to see what he could do, and had he stayed it would have given us more tactical options.

Yeah I know, I'm not sure it is a co-ownership though. I presumed it would be, can't see us selling him completely and Udinese want a lot.

I agree about wanting to keep Chiellini.

same here, I wish that we would have sold Brighi to Udine instead...

    Buffon

    zebina-thuram-legro

    janku-emerson-blasi-zambro

    nedved

    mutu-trez

Not bad IMO. Could use another central defender though, cordoba/adani/campbell etc.

not very realistic though, DP will play no matter what... And Janku on the right side?! Well, I have doubts this defence...

More like this when defending, janku and zambro are both very versatile:

    Buffon

    janku-zebina-thuram-legro-zambro

    emerson-blasi-nedved

    Mutu

    trez

He's cheap, don't mind the bench and a lot better than most people try to make him :) I'd rather have him on the bench than Iuliano, Ferrara, Tudor and Montero. Probably have a tough fight against Legro for a starting position too in my eleven.
