But he's coming from a club in Europe. Or, ehh, I'm not sure. I remember when we signed Melo and he didn't take a non-eu spot.

Thanks, so that could explain why were leaving that spot free ;)
But come to think of it, we only have two spots booked for non-Eu ATM, Caceres and Melo while Diego has an Italian passport too IIRC. So bringing this Argentinian next season would still leave a place for Dzeko or whoever they plan to sign.

I don't like these deals where we have to wait another year for him to play for us, we need people to start for us next year, unless the money's growing on trees all of a sudden and we have enough to buy the rest of the team together aswell.

Can't we like, loan him or something? :D

I think were sticking him in a Co-Ownership deal so he does not take a Non-EU spot, it's not the type where Chievo can buy half of his contract. He'll spend 12 months in the starting 11 in Chievo with a year of Serie A experience and I guarentee he will be back with us depending how he does.
