As Mark said we've look like with have secured him and he'll be on a Co-Ownership with Chievo next year so he does not take our Non-EU spot. Good move if true so he can get taste for Serie A.

Oh man, if this happens I really don't want him to play for Chievo for a whole season. Isn't there any dead wood taking up a spot somewhere? :D

Don't we have a new spot of non-eu since Amauri got his Italian passport? Why bitching Rodriguez then

Because we probably aren't convinced that he's worthy of losing a non-eu spot on him right now.
Milan made a mistake last year when they registered those Uruguayan kids in the summer (Viudez and Cardacio) and then when they bought Thiago Silva in the winter transfer market, they couldn't register him and play him, simply because they didn't have a non-EU spot open.

Isn't the ruling that you can only sign 2 non-EU players extra per season? If so, Amauri is already here. Caceres would take up one if we were to sign him.

I don't think so. Have in mind that I might be wrong, but only a newly registered player takes a non-eu spot, no matter if you own him or not.
Shevchenko was loaned to Milan, but he took a non-EU spot.

I believe that Caceres took a non-eu spot this year and since he was already registered for Juve in 2009/10, he won't be taking a non-eu spot in 2010/2011.

I repeat that I might be wrong. Although I think that i'm not :D

You really think we're gonna grab some talent in the winter? Since three years now we only had one heavy winter transfer and it was for urgent purposes, Sissoko. Can't see it happen again though, and 2 empty non Eu spots would cover for that scenario if it does in fact happens so just back down to that 3rd spot and give it to this talented winger, we need one of those ASAP.

That's probably right, I suppose it depends whether it considers a player 're-registering' as a new signing.
