We want this kid and it seems our head scout has began talks with him. He is also chased by Udinese.

Seems good.

So let me understand this... we have a primavera team full of young talent... but we prefer to go and buy young talent from Argentina than give a shoot to our kids?

Yeah... makes sence

Maybe because our youth team players are not that good? Ronaldo, Messi and Aguero to name a few did not come out of Athleticos Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelonas academies. Also Pato from Milan.

There is nothing wrong with it, every club does that and if he's talented than those guys (and he probably is) this can be a great move. Finally a position we need to get and plus he's a young. If Udinese wants him than that means he's somebody to keep an eye on. It can easily turn out to be a great investment.

Nobody in the primavara in his position is close to him in terms of ability, behave. Every club gets young talent, look at how Porto and Udinese do it.

What's so wrong with his post? We don't really give our talented youth much opportunity, do we? Yeah, yeah, Marchisio and DC, who are the exceptions.
We complain a lot about our Primavera. It is a sad thing that Giovinco is not getting any chances but he's the only one who we can complain about. Immobile looks good but he's still green, no need to rush.

It's not like other teams are producing many talents. Who did Roma play? Okaka, Cerci? Milan? Inter? Or Real, Manchester?

They all have 2 players that come out and be something 'good'.

Talent is noticeable, our Primavera has some good players but I guess our staff knows more when they follow them. This guy can be huge and it can't be missed because we should give more chances to our players.

Pepe, Higuaín (iirc), Alonso etc. We've been missing on too many good talents because we can't be bothered to pay proper money for them, then happen to give Poulsen and Amauri €3m+ a season. Not only this guy, get Neymar in our radar.

And yeah I've seen him play, convinced he has the talent to be a star. The match in the youtube video against Lanús he was the best player on the pitch.

Over the years our Primavera always seems to be the best, but somehow the players just wander off into obscurity.. I think they are probably mishandled and "abused." It's abuse the way they are used as bit pieces in transfer deals, go to Serie B or C and aren't used at all, and stall their development. This new management prmoised that our youth would get all the chances they need.

Okay, let's not go into this never-ending debate about our youth. I just hope the likes of Iago and Immobile, Daud, etc. who seem to be the best players of the best youth team, get their chances.

Anyway, I bet we don't get this guy :p

They should get their chances but it doesn't mean they are going to fail if we don't use them.

If they are the best around then I assume all teams heard about them, so they'll go to some good club, no?

But we never many mistakes likes those. It's usually just kids with potential, but you need a lot more to make it.
