Guess they figured that we'll sell out (or extremely close to) anyway, so why not jack up the prices. Though I have to say I was surprised by just how big of an increase it was.
As a reference point: I paid about 5-10€ less per ticket for the Roma game last season in the same sector. And that's considered a big game (just below both Milan games), while Parma obviously isn't.
I expect prices for regular games to drop again in the next few weeks. Current level can't be sustained imo. (As witnessed by the much slower ticket sales for this game compared to last season.)
Indeed, the ticket price increase did impact out attendances for the first match. However, if we compare Saturday's numbers compared to the first game of last season, which was also against Parma, we had about 2000 more people this time, which is not bad. Our average last season was about 37500, I think we can get something like 38500 this season.
We should reduce the away section from 2k to 1k, if possible.
