Capacity of Delle Alpi was NOT 70.000 in the last couple of seasons. In fact, closer to 60k than 70k. Last season we played there, 55.000 tickets sold (give or take) was basically considered "sold out".

The reasons you mentioned earlier to explain the lower interest were valid, but you did forget the location itself. Even if the means of transportation to the site have improved, it's still very far from the actual city centre & hence time consuming to get there.

As for the area being functional 7 days a week, that is indeed the idea. And it worked more or less this season. I'm not sure this will remain the case though. The big supermarket & a few other stores/bars seem to be a succes, the rest not so much from what I saw.


Regardless, we'll just have to wait & see. Expanding right now (if at all possible) would be a retarded thing to do anyway.

I find that hard to believe. By car from the Porta Nuova it takes you at least 40min, considering the horrendous traffic. Not to mention all the road blocks/work etc that. About 5 or 10 min less from Porta Susa.
Take into account that many, many 1000s don't come by car but use public transport.

I don't know which car you drive but it took me 10-15 minutes.
And I already told you the reasons for 30k and if you are in menagment and are planing such a project you always consider lots of different variables which in different surroundings behave differently.
And 60k straight away would be stupid. I said 50K with an option to expand would be my choice.
And finaly Agnelli is a businessman and I'm sure he doesn't look forward to losing at least 10 millions every year. I'm almost sure he'll find some solution next year. He can raise prices of tickets up to one point. After that we'll see.

Expanding might happen only if the demand is like that for 4 or 5 years to come. Before last season we were finding it hard to fill Communale, a much smaller stadium which is much closer to the city center. Don't listen to Turk and Cronios, they are simply against it because it wasn't Moggi who built it. Turk would have said the stadium is immense had Moggi built a 5000 seater stadium.

I don't think that will happen. People in Italy like football. Other clubs need to follow our example if they want bring back fans. For that to happen govermant needs to pass a law which will help other clubs in getting a building permit. We started more than 10 years ago and are finally reaping the benefits. Look at Germany and their fans. Borussia has an average 80k, do you think they have more loyal fans or more fans than us? Even when they were in the middle of table their stadium was packed. Imagine someone brings you the best food but served on the trash can. Would you eat it?

I have been there numerous times, including sold out games. Time to get there from the city centre (Porta Nuova) ranging from 40-45 min (before a game, non matchday) to 60+ min (immediately after the game).
According to some "locals" (not necessarily Turin people), location was a pretty important issue: time to get there, trouble getting there (referring to public transport, mostly solved now), freezing temperatures at times.

But the public trasport problem has been solved now, and I still somehow remember 15 minutes. Maybe I was driving like a madman. I even remember wanting to go by foot because it seemed like 30-40min walk. When I say center I mean the big street Piazza san Carlo I think with famous statoe on it and there was some kind of Juve store. I wanted to buy tickets there but they had none. I bought them at stadium right before the match.

All what we need is listickets to improve their service, then just be a Juventus member and it should be easy to get a ticket.
I got one for the game against inter last year, and the only difficulty was phoning listickets more than 5478725237 times and all what I was get was all operators are busy please try again.
Good thing that I didn't give up and they did answer my call finally.

I think they should just make sure that listickets improves their services and make international members able to purchase tickets online beside the phone thing.

Those numbers aren't representative. It was completely different surrounding in and out of stadium back then. I came on a matchday and had nothig to do whole afternoon.
There was a culture of going to stadiums, just look at the numbers 10-15 years ago and compare them with todays. I would roughly estimate it halved. The reasons are poor venues, violence... Do you remember what Genoa ultras did this spring? Italian clubs need to invest in infrastructure while local councils backing them up. There is passion in Italy, it just needs to be addressed properly.
Things which were appeling 10-15 years ago aren't anymore. Everything changes. But let me ask you this if Italian clubs had stadiums like the Germans have, would they still be deserted? We did the right thing and are guidelines for the others.

But how much money would we really lose with sligthly bigger stadium if things weren't going our way? Costs of our stadium are very low as a result of using renewable sources of energy. We create our own electricity and we are using rain. On the other hand we would have potential for generating more revenue in the future.
I don't want to criticize and currently I'm happy that we fulfilled our potential, but I hope this management had in their minds plan for expansion.
