That's the tyranny we have been talking about, it gives you the feeling that it is big but in fact is tiny and mediocre.
I'm more than happy to remain blissfully ignorant to its mediocrity. Not like we would fill anything bigger.

 That's bullshit. Don't you think he would be with his girl friend if her were still alive? The outback has to be the worst place to do anything if you don't want to get raped and brutally murdered or have your baby eaten by a wild animal.

6000 tickets still available!! Very dissapointing and even more so considering many tickets were given for free to the volounteers (5000+) and our sponsors.

I'am a realist and don't expect to have our stadium sold out every game next year. But opening game and so many sits not taken? This is bad.

typical! This has always been our problem, even when we had those super teams pre 2006. But I think its a problem throughout Italy, except in probably only Napoli all stadiums are half empty most of the time. Sad and It hurts our league and our game. I expect the 1st game to be full, the opening ceremony to be full but after that all bets are off. I wouldn't be surprised to see the stadium half empty by January again . :boh:

Is any channel in the USA carrying the opening ceremony and the game tomorrow?? RAI Int'l? FOX? ESPN3 stream, anyone? I can't seem to find it anywhere! :haddadjunior:

Would be really bad to see the stadium in the opening game half empty. Even though got a feeling that would indeed happen.

But Why don't they just give tickets for free ?

Way of the mark.

Opening game != A nothing friendly
Do you mean it's the Parma game you're talking about or are you complaining the 6000 people didn't pay €100 to watch an unimportant game of friendly football.

The prevailing climate of negativity here saddens me to my core.

I'm talking about the Notts county game, as in the oppening game of our new stadium. Anyway from what I heard the prices in the stadium are very reasonable. And also it won't be just a friendly their will also be a show and great enthusaism on the day of the game vs Notts.
