Im very excited about the ceremony and the new stadium but all Im going to say is that we better beat Notts County, and we better beat they handily in a respectful way ofcourse. All we need is a loss or bad showing against a lower division mid table English team to turn the happy day into another embarrasment for us and Serie A.

All new stadiums of category 3 or 4 are of the same size, 105mx68m. UEFA set these standards I think in the late 90s or early 00s, but they were updated in 2006. Some older stadiums retain smaller pitches but they can't host UEFA competition games. A good example of these standards is Catania's pitch which is being updated to UEFAs standards.

If Nou Camp was of a different size Barcelona would have to play their home games in the CL somewhere else.
But teams like Fulham,Portsmouth and many others played Europa league in their small stadiums.

Do you mean that both Stadio Atleti of Atalanta and Stadio olimpico of Roma have the same pitch dimensions?

I don't know Atalanta stadium, i think so, but if you want to play european cups you must have the same size of the pitch. So Nou camp and Juventus stadium are the same.

Wtf are you all talking about? There are like 5 official different pitch dimensions and the club can choose between them to suit the formation and the style of play of the club. Its just that the juve's dimensions are standard and most used one. Dont mislead the ppl here please.
