I don't like the loan system. We were never like this. A top club and team always loan it's own players to other clubs to gain experience needed not the other way around but loaning players has been our style lately.

Either buy or don't. Loan players are for teams like Parma, Lazio, Sampdoria. You can never have a competitive squad with so many loaned players.
Who gives a fuck if the players are bought or loaned?

The "loan with option to buy" deals are in every way better than a straight out buy. We get to see if the player has got what it takes in the team before splashing the money, which in the end will save us a lot of money on players who would flop.

Hell yes!

The guy moves at defenders with pace and is great moving into space. Lovely footballer, I hope he comes!

How much would he cost?

Underrated. Often blamed for his lack of effort in the game just because that goes unnoticed. I'd love to have him here.

10-13mln euros would be my guess.
Then again...to quote myself "Hell Yes".

Roma are subsequently a team that mentally breaks down and have been for some time. The collapse worse than we do, so to hit out at Menez for being unstable is a bit unrealistic considering the team he plays for. I believe (as does Dusan) that Zizou is right, he would do well here and we need that kind of young vigor, speed and strength deployed on the left to complement Krasic on the other side.

Would you rather have a pure breed with pace like Menez or a work donkey Hee Haw like Pepe?

Menez would be nasty.

This guy and 2 excellent fullbacks would definitely be a step in the right direction.

I've always liked his game.

Roma is simply still too dependent and infatuated with Totti for any other talent to really shine.

Now, with new ownership in place, the worst PR move that they could make would be for their captain to be sacrificed to the bench or reduced playing time for the likes of Menez, et al........... to take on more of a responsibility.

This may be the perfect time to strike for him.

He only has one year running on his contract, so he shouldn't cost too much. €10-13M sounds about right, which is a small price considering age and potential.

but it also a simple form of risk management, when they turn bad just return them...
anyway i think he would be a good squad player, any idea how much will he cost??
 @ Menez being a squad player. What are the likes of Pepe, Motta, Martinez, and the numerous useless douchebags we have on board then? I guess they should be garbage collectors, water carriers, or ball boys for the new stadium then

Weren't you the one who said Gilardino and Pirlo would be good acquisitions, or was that the other guy who hates Nuri Sahin cuz he is Turkish? :shifty:

Our bench sucks, and our starting 11 is nothing to be proud of. Hence, Menez would be a visible upgrade over anything we currently have.

 Potentially, I can't discount that possibility. Currently, I would have to say no, otherwise I would be blind to the obvious. I'm not that delusional or oblivious ;)

Menez can't and shouldn't be our main purchase. However, Menez, Hazard, and Krasic behind Matri or Quag would be young, dynamic, and unpredictable, wouldn't u agree?

so would you say menez > rossi then?
Rossi 25-30 million euro. We could get Menez for much less:agree:.

Especially when we have players like Amauri,Iaquinta,Sissoko who we could give to Roma to lower the price. Im not sure how dumb roma are, but if they would take amauri or iaquinta It would be amazing :flag1:

I'd rather spend 10-13m on menez than anything over 10-13m for Rossi, that's for sure. G.Rossi is not a world beater and never will be, for his position I would rather sign Neymar indefinitely. (Or Sanchez)

 I have support on this matter :p

I'm loving ur avatar Mohad, but Dwight Howard is just as worthy of the MVP as Rose is this season. I hope the Magic and Bulls face each other in the next round. Should be epic. Fuck the Relics, Knicks, and all the other faggler teams, particularly the Mavs. I'm glad the Mormons aren't in the playoffs this year.

Rose lead his team every game, without him the bulls would be 6th or 7th. Howard is in contention but nobody has been as valuable to their team like Rose has this season.

This might be a special year for the Bulls. :touched:
