This is only about taste. Because he does not like them he says these things about them.

Do I not say that barca suck? They do not suck but because I don't like them I say these things.

When Jasper becomes a music expert, a critic that a lot of people await to hear/read his opinions and he says these things then it stops becoming a taste but we all know that experts and critics do not say such things because they know better.
