do we even need him?

our CMF is pretty complete as it is right now.
He's not just a CMF. He's fairly versatile, which may come in handy while prodding along through the usually injury-stricken months of January and February.

If Sissoko leave, Marchisio can move back to the CM spot and we can rotate, 3 players for 2 spots.
Then we can either get a true winger for the left wing or use Lanzafame or Martinez more often and spend the money from Sissoko on a striker or a defender.

I liked Martinez when he was nearing full fitness, especially against meelan

Interviewed by the British site sport.co.uk, Max Urscheler, agent of the Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic (22), as evidenced by TuttoJuve.com, said: "Wait until Christmas deals are completed, and short, in Then we will decide, in early January, tell us the outcome of our decision. "Among the many spectators in Europe is a clear advantage when Juventus, with Fiorentina, Lazio and Palermo in the wake, at around € 7 million and a half of the likely cost of the operation.

That's most definitely not an ok price.

Who in their right mind would pay €7M for a player you can get for free 5 months later.

Half the price seems more realistic.

Rakitić plays best as a central midfielder and he is a great player who would give Juve another dimension but in that case somebody needs to leave (Momo?). Don't forget that he is still a very young player and perhaps better and cheeper buy(7,000,000) for the future than Aquilani (16,000,000).

I'm with what Alen said earlier in this thread. If the management think we need him I'd rather have him in January than in July.

I think Rakitic, can play anywhere on the midfield and i guess he should be coming as an upgrade for Lanza. Momo's replacement should be a hard tackling midfielder and not Rakitic.

obviously theyll wan to cash in on him....unrealistic to look for freebies all the time...a football club is a business..remember that
They should have thought of that last summer and sold him then, if they wanted to cash in on the player. They either took a chance or couldn't sell the player.

Juve can start talks with the players agent in january, and make a deal then and there to take the player for free in the summer. And Schalke can't do jack shit about it.

For free or 5M he would be nice, if Momo's leaving. If he's not leaving, we better spend it on a fullback or a striker.

No matter how you put it, Rakitic needs to accept a bench role. Is he willing to accept that? He's starting at Schalke now.

Don't even say Rakitic is of Aquilani caliber.

If we get rid of Sissoko, we need a DM not a CM. We don't need this guy, unless he can play as a DM or he has some extraordinary LW talents that no one knows about.

We don't need DM. That's why we are selling Momo. We need CM who can substitute Aquilani.
