we don't really need him in jan.

i'd wait until summer and sign him for free as a back up.

with the trio in midfield, we gon need back up, and sissoko is only one we have

Good as a backup for Aquilani and Marchisio
I guess he will cost us something like 3-5m?

Do you think he can play as the free-role in a 4411?
I think he did that as well for Croatia. Not so sure about this thou'

Or we can get him for free in June. Not worth spending money on this kid.

Kranjcar would be best IMO. We should try to get him on loan this Jan, see how it goes. If Niko doesn't do well then fine get Ivan on a free next summer.

"I'm not very optimistic about the contract talks with Ivan Rakitic at the moment," Magath was quoted as saying by Bild.

"We could even decide to cash in on him in the January transfer window. Everything's possible in the world of football and so is a transfer this winter."

Free agents get higher wages so in the end it won't make a difference if we buy him in January for 5m or in the summer for free. When you sum all up after 2-3 seasons, you will get the same amount.
If Marotta and co. think that Juve needs Rakitic then I prefer to buy him in January rather than June.

Any opinion on the player as to how he'd fit in here or what he could offer? Don't know anything about him aside from some talk of "potential" a few years ago.

i don't want so see sissoko play again for us and you just know aquilani will get injured come january (like half our team).

brining him or another competent midfielder will be good for depth

What a silly question. Of course he will. He has a Swiss passport and Switzerland isn't in EU.
sorry i still don't get it

Something tells me he might have a passport from Switzerland.
yeah i think so,somebody on here said so,but i am not so sure if i could find the post

Does Switzerland really exist, unlike Belgium?
Switzerland gets its ass raped by every other European country

and asks for more

god even Belgium is more interesting and that is just a figment of Andries imagination

I think they should take a chance on this guy. He's young and can really shine if given the opportunity. He's shown glimpses of greatness (remember Euro 2008?) and maybe Serie A would suit him a bit better.
