He was dynamite last year when Schalke finished higher on the table, schalke was poor in the first half of the season, so when your whole team is playing poor it's hard to be an exception. He's young and has potential

For January or Summer, Wahdan? For €5/6M I take him now instead.
January. His contract is expiring after this season, so he will be cheap.

He can play as a winger, but he plays best as central or attacking midfielder.

Aquilani sub or starting LM.

EDIT: His best quality is shooting and his style reminds me of Sneijder.

I've been watching him this season and he's not been that bad at all, it's easy to see that he has quality. I say sign him up now.

I like him. Not so sure on him as a winger though.

I misread. The rumors say we made huge steps to bring him for free in June not in January.
I don't like this, I think whilst we have a good team we won't win the scudetto this season if we stay the way we are now, the team is a solid base for which some good acquisitions should be made in order to 'spice' things up, this is why I'd rather have him now than in June.

Don’t worry. Marotta will bring one or two exciting buys this mercato.

Agnelli and Delneri realized that we can win the scudetto, so they want to strengthen the squad a bit in January.

Rakitic move for free would be a really smart move.

Kill two birds with one stone...I feel the team's most desperate shortages are the lack of a quality prima punta AND a decent backup for Aquilani. I am not at all sure that we are in the market for a STARTING left mid, because the system was adjusted and proven succesful, with MArchiso playing on that side, but tucking in to form a very solid and talented 3 with Big Phil and Alberto. Whether it makes us predictable or not, as in predominantly attacking down the Krasic flank and through the middle, is not as worrying as it could be, because Aquilani is more than capable of producing world class passes from the middle, and Krasic...hohohoohoho!...it matters little if you know he is coming. Its like throwing yourself in a pool of starving great white sharks and saying 'well, i can deal with them, because i know they want to eat me'.

I doubt that Del Neri wants to change a system that is working fine and dandy...

Rakitic seems ideal for our needs, especially if he can operate on both flanks, as well as in the middle.

Surely it would be a nice move for free but if Dzeko is off to City and we don't use Sissoko in that deal (if I believe the rumours) I'm happy with the Soaker going to Schalke and we get Rakitic plus a couple of mills. Don't think we need Sissoko anymore if he's not going to be part of the Dzeko deal, the majority of the time he played he was woeful. Therefor I would like to renew the CM with Rakitic and also the (CB/LB) + ST departement with one signing/loan for January.

Sissoko -> Schalke for 4M + Rakitic
Rakitic -> Juve
Britos from Bologna -> Half of Ekal + 3/4M
(Legro -> Bari/Chievo)

Well letting Sissoko stay, loaning Giandonato to serie B, wait for Rakitic to become free in the summer and sign him, then sell Sissoko for 7M is businesswise smarter :p

Its better business, but I like to believe, optimistic I know, that losing a player or two who are literally dead weight, and replacing them with better players this month, could well allow us to mount a more serious title challenge. If we are to pay 3/4 m with Momo, its in the least a sign that our board and management believe we are in the running, or at least could be, which...for a big club...or a club on their way to the big time...is what i expect. Ambition. Considering Momo rarely plays, and will rarely play, 3/4m is a decent roll of the dice, and its not exactly wasted money, as rakitic, in the least would have the second half of the season to integrate into italian football and the juve family...

I agree Lo-Pan, but losing Momo and getting Rakitic also weakens the team. If Momo leaves we have only one DM (Melo) I don't count Marchisio as a DM since he will mainly operate as a LW and I don't think he's destructive enough for labelling DM. Rakitic is a plus because he could be the sub of Aquilani and operate as winger but he won't be the natural replacement of Sissoko who's a DM. Would love to have a DM back if he leaves and have Martinez as a sub for the left wing.

Did i miss something? He was struggling to play for Schalke, wasn't he? And how could he replace Sissoko as they are different type?
Everything for keeping Sissoko, right? You still hope he finds his form (if he ever had any) so you would rub it in? Hopefully he finds it elsewhere so you can enjoy it there.
