When was the last time when Roma invested in italian youngsters? Florenzi, De Rossi are products of their youth sector, like Romagnoli but he was sold  $#@!ing retard Walter

you forgot the biggest one Verratti 23
Can Roma buy him ? Thats the point here..

The handful of the best Italian talents atm play for bigger clubs, basically unattainable.

We have to look at this in a wider context.

There's a reason Italian football federation wants to restructure the football in the league so they produce more talents like Germany or Spain.

If you dont think he has a point about the current generation of Italians/Italian talent pool in general, then you people are living in denial. Not that i agree fully anyway with his comments.
Pretty sure a guy who extensively scouts for players as his main job would know more about the Italian talent pool than Tuz forum posters.
He wants a finished product, he and Roma don't get in there early and do the ground work like Juve do, so Roma miss out. They want ready made talents for their first team. No vision.

I know that they cant i thought you were talking about Italian talents in general. They want to restructure but i cant see that happening in the near future not with the current leadership. The best talents will continue coming to us or go abroad and frankly i like it.

They had Romangoli and Bertolacci and they were sold without getting the chance to prove themselsves, while they signed the likes of Rudiger, Ucan etc.

Reminds me of the "future Azzurri" list from 10 years ago.

Aquilani, Montololivo, Pazzini, Gilardino, Nocerino, Cassano, Marco Motta...

Went and looked at the team Italy took to that u21 euro tournament in the summer in 2006, it isn't pretty :D

Chiellini, Pepe, Biondini, Pazzini, Foggia, Montolivo, Palladino, Rosina all got caps for Italy. Easy to see which of those have had good careers.

Nice looking stadium.

What's this rumor about getting B teams. Man that will help players returning from injury get back to fitness so much more quickly plus the youth too

Cagliari promoted to Serie A. And they've also had approval off their local council to commence construction of their new stadium (January 2017)

Nice, this will be 4th club in Serie A to own their own stadium I guess. One thing though, i noticed capacity wise the stadiums are no where near the rest of Europe.

When you dont have enough people attending games, stadium capacity will always remain less compared to rest of Europe.

21k is perfect for a club of Cagliaris size. I'd much rather see that than the likes of Bari playing at a stadium that holds 55k for example. Clubs need to downsize and play at modern stadiums that suit their needs (realistically)
