Funny and interesting interview or Raiola.

Guy is a bit of a nutter and a bit of a chav but has his head screwed on and is very good at what he does.

Raiola "The first Q I ask a player is 'Do you want to be the highest paid or the best?' If they say 'highest paid' I show them to the door."
Raiola "A painter who paints for money & not for passion will never make it big."
Raiola "Money is very important, but if it's just what you want to chase you'll get nowhere & will always realize there's someone richer."

Raiola "I speak 8 languages but non of them well."

Raiola "My family now live in Monaco. It was tough to convince my wife. She tormented me with Foggia, her city: 'best place in the world'."

Zeman (Foggia) "Where the f*ck were you? You inform me before leaving."
Raiola "Had some drinks mister? I'm not a player & you're not god."
(Raiola has a history with Zeman, transferred his first player as an agent from Ajax to Zeman's Foggia in 92 & in 96 Nedved to Zeman's Lazio.)
Raiola on his relationship with Zeman "It got a bit lost & never recovered."
Raiola "Zeman went white when I told him I became Nedved's agent. He feared someone might think he had a share (Nedved & Zeman both Czech)."
Raiola on Zeman "He told me 'you leave me alone'. But I told him 'No, I promised to take him (Nedved) to Lazio'."
Raiola "During talks with Cragnotti (Lazio) for Nedved, Zeman calls screaming 'You piece of sh*t, did you not understand what I said?'."
Raiola "At a point, Nedved's move to Lazio was on the verge of breaking down & he was very close to joining PSV, then things got resolved."
Raiola "Then when Nedved was at Lazio Zeman decided it was time for a salary cap, when Pavel only earned 200K & other players 4 times."
Raiola "We argued & didn't speak for months. Then when Zoff replaced Zeman things became better. He was a gentleman, also Cragnotti."

Raiola on Italian directors/presidents yrs ago "The perception was the same as with the Arabs/Chinese today: rich assholes ready to spend."

Raiola on Italian football today "There's a policy to block & not to build. As long as you have the likes of Tavecchio, we die everyday."
Raiola "In Italy a club owner doesn't own shit. He just pays the salary of 60 ppl. A hero if he wins & an ass if he loses The fans control."
Raiola on Calcio "Fans are in control, they're the most clever. You (club owner) can spend 90m but if makes no return it has no value."
Raiola "Look at the Glazers for ex. They didn't invest a pound in Man Utd but they brought strategy & it went from the sink to billions."

Raiola "At one point me & some partners were closer to buying Roma than Pallotta. I wanted to revolutionize, first by dismissing Totti."
nted Raiola "He's a piece of history, but I wanted to start with new faces & no heavy legacy. Anyway, it all stopped because of UniCredit."

Raiola "Pogba to Chelsea? Not now I don't think so but in football you never know & my job isn't taking players to Chelsea. I'm not a taxi."
Raiola "I manage people which I am proud of. My job is to help them find their dimension. There are no contracts. Just a handshake."

How did you convince Pogba?
Raiola "I didn't & neither did he. A friend once told me 'take a look at this boy'. I did & fell in love."

Raiola on Donnarumma "I've been telling people about him for 3 yrs now. Ibra to Italy? It could happen, with a team where he left his mark."
You mean Milan (for Ibra)? Raiola "Yes Ibra can do great gestures, like giving up millions to go to Milan. But he still hasn't chosen yet."

Raiola "If Balotelli had the mentality of Zlatan then Messi would have fewer Golden Balls."

Raiola "Ferguson says he doesn't hate anybody except me. It's a great compliment. If you have no enemies it means you have not worked well."
Raiola "The regular things can be done by many & most. I move the air. I move dreams. And every now & then I might piss off someone."

Very interesting pathetic douchebaggery going on at Milan. Allow me to explain :

Galliani rightfully is getting a full frontal trashing by shareholders, they nearly collectively demand his departure

Ultra's and actually most fans, demand Milan sold to the chineese and Galliani gone aswel.

Now listen :

A week or so a go, there was a huge upset. Apparently, Galliani just planned/confirmed a US tour for the team, but within its duration is are the first EL games in case Milan still makes the EL.

Basically, he just ruled out that they would still make it. Ultra's were quite upset as a result.

Now, today we hear the lovely BS that "Zlatan comming depends on the team qualifying for the EL"

Trying desperately to get positive light on him with that statement as seen above, he's making a statement that he knows wont happen, so the fans would blame it on the squad.

This has to be the most pathetic, resentfull thing i've seen in quite a while.

Zach. Random question.

How did Allegri manage to make that disgusting backline and midfield of Milan in the 12/13 season operate functionally and do reasonably well in the CL?
Setting a deep defensive line that doesnt step out, and train lavishly on how to move and function as a unit. Mostly who covers where and when. Thats the base

Next on comes the midfield. Allegri overly analyses the opponent and the way they create attacks, and where they leave the space behind them. He uses all his 3 cm's to do the pressure and aggressiveness. But in specific area's, on specific players, with 1/2 players etc. Well, 3 cm's and 1 of the strikers, they alternate.

The difference between allegri and other coaches who'd use this style, is that he'll have analysed much better how to have the midfield press where and when, and the amount of cohesion his defensive unit has.

Ask yourself. How many times have you seen a pass trough the juve defence when it was positionned ?

(aka not a quick counter, or a loss of possession in an unexpected area)

Roma up 2-0. Nainggolan and Rudiger with the goals. Should be 3 points for them.

Hopefully Torino take points off Napoli in the later game, want those garbage loving fucks to miss out on automatic CL qualification :xfinger:

I seriously think Roma can do a good job next year in CL, but Nainggolan (& Pjanic) need to stay.
If they buy a good keeper (Sirigu?) and a good leftback they can survive the group at least and maybe can come to quarter finals (depends on draws ofcourse)
