People discriminate others as strangers even if they're from a different street :D just put this on a national level :D But i don't think there is anything worse than Naples and Neapolitan. MAYBE and JUST maybe Sud Tirol they see themself more like germans/ austrians.
So which regions would be the most "patriotic" to the Italian national identity?

And yes I agree with you about Neapolitans. Motherfuckers are still hung-up over the end of the Bourbon dynasty. Fuckheads.

Is there any? I think Italians are a bit like Belgians in that sense. To other nationalities they consider themselves Italian. But as long as they are in Italy, they bicker among themselves.

exactly. Everyone is proud of their local origins.
So if you'd ask italians if they are prouder to be italians or were under Roman Empire i bet most of them them would pick the latter.
The only nationalism we had in Italy was during the fascim under Mussolini. But after that? only when we play football.

This country is relatively young just 15x years old. And didn't unite itself via a historic change but rather to a single handed conquest campaign by Savoia. Before that was the Pope state, the kingdom of two Sicilies, Savoia, Venice commercial empire and many smaller powers.

So there is no real sense of "we're the same cause we speak the same" even that came after with national schools. Before everyone had their own language which can't be considered a offspring of italian. I mean italian was chosen rather than commonly spoken by everyone.

So then why do you hate Napoletani and Tyroleans then? If every region hates the idea of being "Italian" and prefers to align themselves culturally with their own regions, why single them out?

we don't hate to be italians but we hate them cause they're retarded. We're just proud of our ancestors. While Neapolitans and Tyroleans really hate to be italians but still like cockroaches enjoy the benefits.
Neapolitans are hate due to their perpetual delusions about Borbons and Tyrloeans cause they're fecking german/austrians. They even speak german more fluently than italian.

Repeating myself being proud of one ancestors =/= than hating to be italians.

What italians hate beside Neapolitans and Tyroleans is our politic class a bunch of rotten and corrupted individuals without shame.

yeah, but is the culture that different? And do they 'hate' each other or just make fun as do scandinavians do with their neighbours.
It's not just making fun of each other. It can be a real strain on our political system. The cultural differences are sometimes overstated, but they are definitely there. Someone from Arlon could just as well be French imo. Then again part of the Belgian 'identity' is simply this duality of cultures itself.

It's a bit like Switzerland I imagine.
I have only passed by switzerlend so I have no real idea how things are there, but I would imagine they would have strong ties to feeling swiss in general even if they speak zillion other langueages in different places there. Just how they were formed and united in the middle ages.

Gargano on Napoli

What was your first impression when you arrived in Naples? It is true that Northern Italians do not particularly like the Neapolitans?

"I have two sons Neapolitans, I can say that this is true. Naples is a crazy city and very chaotic, unique in its being. I admire the way they live football, although I do not share their culture. "

What do you mean in particular?

"They are insolent, rude. They have attitudes that are here on the contrary. Here people are very polite, asking you things saying please, if you're having dinner or having lunch waiting for the right moment. In Naples, however, at any time they attacked shouting in dialect "EU, Garga, come here" and never ask please. For a player is only playing in Naples because there is a huge passion. That things go well or badly, however, you can not leave the house! "

This is a great statement to be honest.

Milan’s Ultras have released a statement demanding Adriano Galliani be sacked or the club be sold.

The joint-CEO has come under severe criticism from shareholders and fans after three consecutive seasons without Champions League football.

Having drawn with Frosinone at the weekend, the Rossoneri now miss losing out on Europe altogether, as they currently lie seventh, behind Sassuolo.

If Cristian Brocchi’s side win the Coppa Italia they will take the final Europa League spot, but if they lose to Juventus then sixth in Serie A will enter the competition.

“Wednesday July 27, Soldier Field Chicago, Bayern Munich-Milan,” a statement from the Curva Sud Ultras begins.

“A normal friendly, a game like so many played over the summer, with a lot of tickets already on sale. But then…

“Looking at the schedule for the Europa League, coming sixth in the Italian League, the place that we are 'chasing’ would mean being involved in a preliminary round on that very date.

“Is this a gross error on the part of a club in disarray? Or can we assume the club has already decided to lose sixth, to go on tour in the USA?

“To us it seems clear that the second option is widely supported by the ridiculous results against teams lower than us in both squad and prestige.

“If the possibility of termination linked to the preliminary rounds does exist, there would be more revenue gained from playing a trophy for sponsors than playing against low-calibre teams in the Europa League.

“Our only lifeline is the final of the Coppa Italia, we’ve arrived in the final after many years, but the final was only the minimum goal given the path we had.

“The plan is to get to the Europa League only through the Coppa Italia, and if not renounce European competition for another year to make room for profitable but useless summer trophies.

“This is about the worst thing that can happen in football and in the history of Milan, as well as being a blatant mockery of the fans, because lets not forget that even people who attend a dirty theatre pay for a ticket.

“Let’s leave out the celebrations at the stadium on Sunday for a draw [with Frosinone] that was just a red herring.

“The stadium is now filled only by children and football schools, who don’t pay and serve only to allow the club to fill the empty seats that years of mismanagement have created.

“Children are being used to hide their dirty business, children who in their innocence went crazy for goals which were a farce in reality.

“Once again the losers are those who have Milan in their heart and soul, ruined by this leadership and their nonsense.

“A leadership which is hiding behind repressive laws which don’t allow any form of protest, or contact with the players, coaches or other fans.

“The laws don’t allow any protest banners, on pain of more legal action. That’s what the stadium has become and we’re being gagged. That’s why we continue to fight on the fronts we can still fight on.

“They are ridiculing the name and the history of Milan, we can’t put up with this rubbish anymore.

“It’s not just limited to the Curva though, every Milan fan has now understood what they’re doing, and this is just the latest in a series of events which have opened the eyes of even the last bastions of those defending the indefensible.

“Get rid of Galliani or sell Milan!”

i'd gladly buy Pjanic. Would solve a lot of our problems ;( too bad we ain't Bayern which steal a player from their competitors almost every year
Where on Earth would you put him? If every midfielder we have now is fit, Pjanic would not make the first eleven. And it's not like we're going to buy this guy for cheap.
