Title: nipples better than Juve at home.

It's like they want to be meelan.
That's terrific.

You are SUPPOSED to win the majority of your home matches. Championship clubs are ones that can win away from home.

Oh well, Napoli.

I wonder what a Scudetto of Honesty badge looks like.

Ranocchia has been horrible with Bologna (after not featuring at all for Inter in 1st half of season). He's errors-galore with Bologna. Have no idea why he got called up last time.

Conte has been decent overall.

Regista isn't Verratti's best role. It's the best role for Marchisio and DDR. And DDR shouldn't even be in the team (not as a midfielder) let alone start.

Pirlo hasn't been called up in a while I believe.

Contrary to the popular, wrong belief, Berardi isn't good enough to be in Italy's team. The not-uncommon suggestion of Berardi starting for Italy or Juve is pretty funny. If he does join Juve, a lot of the fans will be in for a shocker. He's good for his age, but he isn't nearly THAT good.

Perin was the better GK, but with Perin injured, Gigio should be in contention now.

Two of DDR (still does well as CB), Rugani, and Tonelli should be picked as the 4th and 5th CBs. Astori and Ranocchia are horrible choices, and all of the aforementioned three are better than Acerbi. Don't get why many complain about Romagnoli not getting called either. Makes absolutely no sense.
Conte has called up a number of players without any logic. He should stick with a core and look what players have the talent to absolutely explode before the euro's. Basically 2. Arguably 3. Not all the shit he called up.

He's a good coach, but as a NT coach he's thinking too much as a club coach.

I'm not putting verratti as a regista. i'm putting him somewhat in a similar role as pogba. 2 players doing mostly the covering so he can have plenty of offensive thinking whilst remaining a cm. DDR was an example, he's supposed to be excellent for the NT. I'd probably pick Motta

Pirlo has been called up alot, not sure lately but conte's fucking about in the friendlies. Pirlo should never be a starter at the euro's

Oh i'm with you on Berardi. And this is the issue : the italian forwards are THAT poor :D. El Sharaawy has done wel...zaza when he got chances...aaaand ?

Undecided about perin, but that donnarumma, jesus christ

Reading those names, its horrible how italy has regressed that much.

Fun fact. Untill not so long ago, serie a had no limitations on the non EU. But for a long time, they did had heavy rules on the number of italians. That worked. The '2 non eu' rule is bullshit.

Make it 6+6 homegrown/italian, and remove the non eu rule.

The great thing about that table is that there is a good chance napoli draws their home game, which will bring juve back on top

Napoli are flat-track bullies at home. Away from home they suck balls. Refs are less intimidated by them away from home.
Read this gem from Hamsik.

Hamsik: 'If Napoli win Scudetto…’
By Football Italia staff

Marek Hamsik “can’t even imagine what would happen” if Napoli won the Scudetto.

The Partenopei fell short this season, as Juventus put together an incredible winning run to take the title with three matches to spare.

“If we win the Scudetto one day, I’ll get a tattoo of it on my leg,” Hamsik told Break in his native Slovakia.

“I already have the Coppa Italia, the date of my first game for the national team and the day we qualified for the World Cup.

If we won the Scudetto? Maybe Vesuvius would erupt again…

“When we won the Coppa Italia, thousands of fans waited for us in the piazza. I can’t even imagine what would happen with a Scudetto.”

Territorial discrimination from their own captain! No wonder they'll never win, they can't even imagine it.

These are the same fans who hate Italy, don't consider themselves Italian, but "proud Napoletani", boo the national anthem of Italy...

And celebrate like crazy when they win a Coppa Italia

In b4 Seven comes in here and defends them.

I hope Vesuvius erupts anyway :touched:
You know, if that is what it takes to purge that city, I might be cool with them winning the scudetto next year.

Notice I said "might"

And I love you.

I have yet to figure out why, but i guess some things are better left unsolved.

After we scored our first goal against Fiorentina, Rugani was too busy provoking Fiorentina fans to celebrate. Why you ask? Because he's from Lucca, another city in Tuscany. And as if that petty provincialism wasn't ridiculous enough, his partner in defense, Barzagli, is actually from Fiesole, which lies just outside of Firenze.

People discriminate others as strangers even if they're from a different street :D just put this on a national level :D But i don't think there is anything worse than Naples and Neapolitan. MAYBE and JUST maybe Sud Tirol they see themself more like germans/ austrians.

This is the same in Belgium, so I totally understand how Italians feel. But I still want to distance myself from such behaviour.
