Ventura does it again! He makes every year a great team of Toro, now even with some good Italian youngsterts like Benassi, Belotti, Baselli, Zappacosta etc. Baselli is sooo good so far. He is second highest rated player on whoscored (8.11) and scored already three goals in four matches. The goal against Fiorentina was amazing

And f*ck toro!

him and/or kondogbia would have been perfect additions for preserving our midfield domination.
Nah with the options that were available Kondogbia not even worth risking half of the price he went for (40m because he is just defensive. While Allan can actually pass well and attacks eagerly.

Zappacosta has no hope of playing with Peres in front of him. But yeah rest have clicked well, he defenitely knows how to reinvent his squads every season.

It's going to be a lot harder this year. Inter will finish in the top 3 at least, Napoli, Roma and now AC Milan will give it a good go too.

Still think we are the best team in Italy, but it will struggle a lot more, especially considering this is a transition phase.

Maicon fined for diving
By Football Italia staff

Roma full-back Maicon has been fined €2,000 for a dive in the weekend draw with Sassuolo.

The Brazilian international went down in the Neroverdi area on 57 minutes, but was booked for diving by referee Davide Massa.

The Lega Serie A has decided to levy a fine of €2,000 in its disciplinary findings, in addition to the yellow card. The same punishment has been given to Empoli’s Massimo Maccarone.

Genoa’s Armando Izzo, Bosko Jankovic of Verona and Udinese’s Panagiotis Kone have all been given a one-match suspension after being sent off in the weekend’s fixtures.

Inter have been slapped with a €3,000 fine after supporters directed insulting chants at the referee during the Nerazzurri’s win over Chievo.

Hahaha Maicon fined for diving  good job from FICG

Milan are absolute shit, I rule them out as top 3 contender.

Nah, last season they were absolute shit.

This season they'll just be shit.

Can't see them finishing above any of Juve, Roma, Napoli, Inter.

Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio probably fight for the remaining EL place(s).

I think Inter are having a bit of a lucky streak. I think they'll struggle to finish top three unless the Serie A teams in Europe end up going very deep into the competition.

Pretty easy fixture list so far for them, and they've won by one goal each time.

And no, I'm not suggesting that ours has been particularly difficult.

i have a feeling that fiorentina will finish higher than lazio and milan. i rate them even above napoli.

sousa :touched:
Quite possibly.

They've still got a lot of the good attacking stuff from Montella, but Sousa seems to be toughening them up a bit.

Good combination.

Inter still have to pass a 'difficult' period, dropping points, injuries etc. Much like we have. After that, how and if they bounce back, will we see if they can go all the way.
