Cole: 'Roma can win Scudetto’

Roma full-back Ashley Cole believes the Giallorossi can win the Scudetto - 'we have the team to do it’.

The former Chelsea defender moved to Serie A last summer, but the Lupi could only finish 17 points adrift of Juventus in second place.

“It’s time to look forward,” Cole told Roma TV.

“We have to focus on the season that’s about to start. I’ve been here for a year, and I know the style of play now, the Coach wants us to express ourselves, we hope to do better next season.

“You have to be ambitious every season, there’s no point entering a competition without wanting to win it. It will be difficult to win the Scudetto, but we have the team to do it.”
