Are you ruling out the possibility of being professional athlete and educated?
Don't get me wrong, professional athletes can be educated to some extent. But you just can't compare one person that spent most of his life learning things and other that spent his whole seconds playing with a football.
For professional atheletes if you're not dumb that is an achievement that should be celebrated on it's own. Don't get me wrong, I think as professional atheletes go Ale is probably one of the smartest ever. But to imply that he could run a football club without any other experience besides playing football is a bit over the top.
I'm all for DP to be handed honorary president, in fact I would love that. I would love it if he had that position and could learn while in it and gradually if he can and wants to increase his role withing the club.
Even players that want to be coaches get their badges and learn their trade after retiring and not go to a top club first team job even though, they had experience working with people in that field whole life.
