Agent: 'Kramer doesn’t want Napoli’
By Football Italia staff

Christoph Kramer “doesn’t want to go to Napoli” declares the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder’s agent.

It was reported today that the Partenopei’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli was flying to Germany to discuss a €15m transfer.

However, the player’s representative has contradicted talk of a deal, declaring that his client does not want to move to Serie A.

“There haven’t been any negotiations since the days of [Rafa] Benitez,” Gerd vom Bruch told Kicker.

“The player doesn’t want to go to Napoli.”

Kicker also reports that Bayer’s sporting manager Jonas Boldt has ruled out players leaving in January.

:howler: The way he says it, its as if he is trolling Napoli

Of course he doesn't want to go to Napoli. He's German. Why eat good fead in 20° C weather looking over the bay of Naples, when you can eat bratwurst while inhaling chemicals in the rain?

Ze Germans should count themselves real lucky they make quality cars.

Dude you know that the region around Naples is incredibly polluted by decades of Camorra burning industrial waste illegally? Cancer risk in that region is like triple the rest of Italy.

And sometimes you literally live between the garbage for months at a time, because they refuse to pick it up. Naples isn't perfect.

But it's better than Leverkusen.

If you live in Naples you have more urgent things to worry about than eventually getting cancer. BTW I'm almost sure that due to the immense traffic congestion in Belgium cancers risks are elevated here too.

Beer, chocolate.

Napoli's a cool enough city and either you haven't been there or you were scared when you were, because the place is friggin' gorgeous.

Temperature, weather, landscape, architecture... Sure, there are tremendous downsides. Awful traffic, very crowded, generally rather unsafe... But it's pretty much what you'd expect from a Southern Italian city.
Its pretty much a corrupt 3rd world city, its a treat/unique to visit sure, but live there? There is sure difference between visiting a boring functioning German industrial city and a more colorful southern italian big city like Naples, but to live with the necessary requirements it needs to fullfill? Come on dude.

I wouldn't call it a beautiful city. It's one of the roughest places of Italy I've seen. Granted, Palermo is the absolute worst.

Imo the Italian south doesn't really have any large cities that I'd call beautiful, at least none I've seen. For those things you gotta search north of Rome.
What's stunning however is the climate, nature, and a lot of the small villages.

Wow. You are so West/Central European/Scandinavian in your thinking it's scary :D. How many of you have actually spent a considerable amount of time in Naples?
