Roma, Inter face FFP sanctions?
By Football Italia staff

Roma and Inter are expected to discover their Financial Fair Play sanctions tomorrow, according to reports, with other Serie A teams affected.

UEFA has been rumoured for a while ready and imminent to punish the Italian duo for falling foul of FFP regulations, which limit a club’s spending to more sustainable means.

According to La Repubblica and the Gazzetta dello Sport, sanctions will arrive tomorrow.

La Repubblica suggest that Inter face a fin of between €6m and €8m, and the prospect of their international squad being limited to 21 players rather than 25.

The Nerazzurri are also facing the possibility of limitations in the transfer market, with their buying power linked to and constrained by their income.

Roma, meanwhile, may see their international revenue – from the Champions League and the Europa League campaigns this year– blocked as a sanction.

It is also reported by La Repubblica that other clubs could also be involved, with Milan reportedly to fall under scrutiny when they next qualify for Europe, as well as Lazio and Fiorentina.

La Repubblica also reports that tomorrow FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio will be meeting UEFA President Michel Platini to map out the plans for the recovery of Italian football.
If Roma doesn't get the money, who does? :beppe:

Elaborate on this? how this works?. As it makes more sense to put all you best players in the AD for obvious reasons
Avoiding Image Rights Payments

There is a fine line between individual image rights and team rights, which clubs own. In the case of the photo of Aguero celebrating his title-winning goal, were Manchester City to sell that as a poster, or use it on the cover of a DVD they would have to pay image rights to Aguero. With a picture of the entire team together, the club own those rights so they can use them freely. There is a guiding law used in football that three players need to be together in an image for it to be considered a ‘team’ right. There are also additional guides that state that not all three or more of the players can all be stars, that it has to include some of the ‘lesser’ names to be considered a team image. When a club unveil a new kit, they will usually group players together to make it a team photo rather than an individual photo, thus avoiding image rights issues (some clubs just pay the fees). If you have ever wondered how teams choose which players to include in kit launches – for eg. the biggest star, the second biggest star, and then three squad players, they have usually put some thought into image rights issues.

Its not just fans.Small club mentality runs through their veins right from directors, staff, players, everybody involved with that piece of shit club.

Milan are terrible but atleast they dont have a persistent whining mentality like Roma do.
Don't get me wrong i hate them but i like reading the hate posts because they'll never be on our lvl and all they can do is cry and with their talk that they gonna win the scudetto it made it even more enjoyable when we won it.

In ter and Milan are getting wrecked by karma. They sold their souls to the devil to fuck us with Calciopoli... but its payback time and the backlash will be even uglier for them by the looks

 This is new to me. I was wondering why Pirlo was surrounded by Caceres, Coman, and Ogbonna, when it could be Tevez, Marchisio, or even Llorente.

That's why I hope Milan won't be sold to that asian investor. At least not for the next 3-4 years.

Its ok. Let them sell Milan to some foreign asians who are not accustomed to italian football.
They continue losing, they lose their italian roots with the team full of unkown thai players for marketing purpouses... and we continue winning. Profit.

Its like a dream coming true. Just loook at thohir...he came and nothing changed. I bet my house that he must be thinking like "why i bought this mess? fuk me"

Thing is, Milan is quiet different than Inter.

It doesn't matter how much you invest in Inter, they'll always be a loser club with a loser mentality (horse face spent close to a "billion" in his years there still they only managed to win very few title mostly when we were struggling due to calciopoli).

Milan on the other hand is totally different club (as hard as I'd admit). That asian investor will only have a 51% stake in the club while Berlo will still have the rest so he'll still have his influence there.

I honestly see them totally different scenarios.

Milan are under scrutiny with FFP, yes I mean AC Milan it's not just Inter. The only thing is, FFP won't do anything because the sanctions are all about European football and Milan aren't in Europe. So if they do spend the fantasy 100M in the Summer, if/when they qualify for Europe they're going to be top of the financial fair play hit list.
