I guess until Chiellini crossed the line in one of those matches I remember Maldini grabbing Chiellio from the kit and asking him to behave. :D
I remember that, Maldini literally schooled Chiellini. :D
But I still remember some Milan fans jeering him on his last match at San Siro. What was the reason?

This forum has allways been full of biased morons, or deliberate haters who know they are BSing but cant make themselves state the obvious, like the all time italian legend Totti is as a player. Like they get some kind of badge of honour to go overboard with the senseless stuff like that.
I even got abuse for having the audacity to say that Baggio was better than Del Piero (which he clearly was, even if the fanboys on here will never admit it). They went nuclear when I praised Totti the player as a genius.

I love Baggio, but he wasn't more talented, the things Del Piero did ala Del Piero zone trademark goals, high-heels goals, bicycle assist, freekicks etc Baggio was second best to them, Baggio was predictable like Messi but damn good, Del Piero was different.

If you look at it in every reasonable angle, yes, Baggio is better than Del Piero. But why do Juve fans prefer Del Piero over Baggio? You've got to find the answer to that yourself. ;)
Blaise Pascal once said "the heart has its reasons of which reason knows nothing".

Chiellini was speechless.

I read that in the news, what a terrible thing to happen. :frown2:

I do think it's debateable whether pre-injury Del Piero was better than Baggio was.

:D

Wouldn't call Baggio predictable as messi. The guy was crazy talented too, talent and elegance of the game wise he definitely falls short to Del Piero, but there are only just a few who could compete with him there, but Baggio overall was a better player.

Predictable in a positive way obviously :D

Most defenders know how Messi dribbles for instance but can't stop him because he's good at it, that's being predictable but good. Del Piero on the other hand would just invent something depending on the situation he's in.

Messi and Baggio would run fast, dribble past players, fake pass/shoot, drifts to the left if open shoots, Del Piero would either backheel pass you, bicycle assist you or just play it simple and wait for the perfect moment to create something.

Watching pre injurie Del Piero would look similar to what Baggio did :D

Though I agree what you are saying, he's the most elegant player that played this game. On entertainment and creativity only Ronaldihnio on his top came close for me.
