How can you feel so passionate about players like Ale and Buffon and almost treat players like Totti the same? You disgust me, Rab. :D
Del Piero is treated on a different level assshole :D

Totti, Maldini, Nesta, Baggio and the likes are players I cheered for Azzurri and appreciated them.

Guys, you have to make your mind up, either you value the principle of loyalty to one's club/team or not. If you do, then you have no right to make fun of Totti for not winning titles, he was always an amazing player that played for a team that was rarely ever a favorite to win the Serie A, and definitely not the CL. If you don't believe that loyalty is that important, then you have no right to hate players whom you believe have "betrayed" Juve such as Zlatan, Thuram, Zambrotta and co..

Why do I have a feeling that some of the exact same people who make fun of Totti for his lack of titles also hate some ex Juve players for their perceived lack of loyalty?

He is very talented, but Totti is an ass though. I respect players like Scholes, Gerrard and Maldini. One club players who aren't assholes.

Only way to dislike Totti for is his character, ill discplined behaviours and general douchebaggery, not his career choice or amazing and insane quality as a player.

He is someone you can appriciate his football genius, but never respect as a man, he makes that impossible.

It's a different story to hate him for his character or anything else. My only point was those who made fun of him for a lack of silverware, while at the same time, blaming their own team's players when they jump ship for that same reason.

Yeah well those are trolling or hypocritical morons, but as someone quickly said, you cant make fun of Totti for that when Buffon would prolly take that same pic in same location and also be someone who havent won it.

I never understood why some people don't like Maldini. He was a great player, and is not an annoying character like Totti is. Maldini is also Chiellini's idol. Heck he even had Maldini's picture on his bedroom wall.
I guess until Chiellini crossed the line in one of those matches I remember Maldini grabbing Chiellio from the kit and asking him to behave. :D

Osman explained it already. I don't hate him for being loyal to Roma WTF.

C'mon, you can't hate Maldini.

I lost some respect towards Chiellini because he didn't react that day.

People suddenly recognising Totti's talent all of a sudden. I got dogs abuse for saying how good he was on here for a number of years.
This forum has allways been full of biased morons, or deliberate haters who know they are BSing but cant make themselves state the obvious, like the all time italian legend Totti is as a player. Like they get some kind of badge of honour to go overboard with the senseless stuff like that.

Stuff like this for example, cant get it, different opinions to a point (one thing to state he was overrated a bit or such etc), but whats detestable or pukeworthy of an immense footballing legend like Maldini? Had a career very few can dream of and was generally a good class act professional.

Like gazilion of games vs us, and thats the only moment I recall Maldini ever getting riled up enough to do that in a game vs us or even general. And Chiellini is defenitely someone who needs to be taught to behave, and he did lol. Because if it was any other player then Maldini, he would defenitely gone neanderthal on them for the rest of the game, or career even, as he has done vs likes of Ibra, Cavani etc. But someone like Maldini, you just cant act out on, his aura as a character and career stops these kind of stuff dead.
