Thank you.

I was asking because a lot of roma fanboys are crying for the Caceres goal but dont mention that situation, which seemed similar to this one.
The Caceres goal is more clearly offside.

Caceres is borderline.

But Chiellini is offside and he has to be considered to have been interfering with play, even though he didn't manage to touch the ball.

this whole active/passive-rule is bullshit or at least the interpretation of it is. especially in situations like yesterday it often gets completely ignored if the player in question (chiellini) doesn´t touch the ball.

another weird thing about this rule:
skip to 1min.
there is exactly one reason for the defender to go for the tackle and that´s the striker behind him, who is offside. yet, according to the rules, it´s a fine goal. i don´t get it.

the comments from benitez and de laurentis make me mad. i know i should probably laugh at it and feast on their tears but i could imagine it will come back and haunt us again.
just look at the last few games after garcia´s whining... i´m a 100% convinced that we should be further ahead than we are and that roma clearly got the better of the refs this season but still we are the cheaters of italy...
looking forward to the gds/cds-headlines :sergio:
