Napoli look like they may have regressed since last season.
They have failed to deal with their issues in central midfield and have downgraded in other key positions (replacing Fernandez with Koulibaly and Reina with Rafael).
Roma don't look menacing tbh, but it is early days, so I shall reserve judgement until we go deeper into the season. They did what needed to be done (albeit via a very fortuitous goal) and that is basically get the 3 points.
Roma are doing what they need to do.
They rested their first choice front three (Gervinho-Totti-Iturbe) and still won the game.
Because they got the goal in the first half, they never had to open things up and and take any risks.
A lot of their performance was horrible (lost count of how many times they casually gave away possession) but tactically they took no risks and never looked like conceding a goal.
They also did create a couple of chances themselves and could have won more comfortably.
Given that it was a potentially awkward game (post international break, before CL game, enthusiasm of newly promoted team playing first home game), I don't think you can say much that negative about them winning the game.
How is it wall position? when the free kick is on the goalkeepers left, the wall cover the left side of the goal until the middle, the keeper covers his right side, he should never be beaten on the side the wall isn't covering, because that is completely his responsibility. When he covers his side of the goal, the onus then is on the oppositions free kick taker to get the ball above the wall, making it harder for him. However if the keeper allows him to score on his side of the goal, there really isn't much the free kick taker has to do. Thats ABC football imo, i'm surprised you'd think its the walls fault.
