IMO, Inzaghi cannot judged from his first year. As i have read his opinion on coaching, it seems to me like a new Conte. He is very ambitious man and as a player was a genious. The problem with Milan is Berlusconi and Galliani who are staying in old mindset. Milan needs a class CB and a Montolivo replacement and they can make a step over. They made their changes years ago truly short and without a good manager-without experienced footballers.

With some good additions they can beat teams like Inter and Napoli.

they are covered at CB. Alex, Mexes, Rami, Zapata, Bonera is more than enough since they play Serie A only. depending on the formation i think they will need an AM (4-2-3-1, Honda isnt good enough) or another CM (4-3-3, a creative one). also, another winger is needed, as they cant rely on El Shaarawy to stay injury free all season and Menez, Taarabt (is he even staying?) arent good enough. i would also add a fullback to be able to rotate with Abate and De Sciglio.

btw. how long is Montolivo out?

Montolivo is out untill October-November i think.
Albertazzi, Constant (lol) are their back-up. With De Sciglio who can play as RB, they are ''ok''...if De Sciglio-Abate are healthy.
IMO, this CBs are not good enough for a team like Milan. They are solid but not in the same level with their previous CBs.
For CM, i can see Cristante as a staret in a lot of matches, even Saponara. But they need an experienced and creative CM, in the same level (or better) with Montolivo.

Anyway, i can't see a worse season for Milan than the previous one.

Zdenek Zeman says that Juventus 'have not lost anything’ in Antonio Conte’s departure, whilst he plays down expectation on Roma.

The Bianconeri are seen as facing a tough challenge to retain their League title of the last three years following Conte’s exit earlier this month.

Whilst Max Allegri has come in as his replacement, Zeman has dismissed the idea that the Old Lady is weakened.

“They do not lose anything because they have a history and a workforce that is separate from their Coach,” the current Cagliari Coach has told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“As for the departure, the relationship had worn out, the decision had been taken in advance.”

Zeman also reflected on the title rivals Juve may be up against.

“Roma have brought in players that on paper considerably strengthen them, but then you have to see if their performances on the field will live up to expectations.

“Rudi Garcia? I started a type of work that he has been very good to carry on.

“Napoli? They must find continuity that they have not had in recent seasons. The Milanese must turn a page. It will not be easy, but it is hard to do worse than last year…

Good calendar, tbh. Posivite points are the soft start and being able to play almost all the big matches at home in the second round.

Man, winning a title at San Siro against Prescritti or against Naples would be :ID:, but let's calm down for now. :D
