@Hustini

Fuck Dzeko. The fucker grew up playing in Bosnia and The Czech Republic before finally moving to Germany. I'm sure they have/had state of the art stadiums and a "clean" league over there :shifty: :howler:

Edin Dzeko has dropped a hint that Serie A may be in his future: “My friend Miralem always speaks well of Roma.”

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international has been continually linked with a move to the Peninsula this summer, with Inter more than once mentioning an interest in the Manchester City man.

The striker has now considered Italian football, how it is perceived and how one international teammate in particular sees otherwise.

“unsafe,” Dzeko has told the Corriere della Sera today.

“As a kid, my reference was Serie A. I supported Milan, the best players were there, it was a spectacle.

“The Premier League was not so popular, it had a lot less charm.

“Now, everything is different. The perception we have of Italy is negative. There are too many scandals, the stadiums are old, not up to it.

“It is such a shame. But my friend Miralem always speaks well of Roma.

“Would I go to Italy? City are a great team, we have just won the Premier League, we want to do better in the next Champions League.

“But, I have always thought it would be nice to experience Italy. When, I do not know.

“If by the time I am 50, will the stadiums and sport have improved? Do you not have confidence that they will change? Indeed, I never thought I’d be playing at the Maracana…”

Need to put great Emphasis on Old Stadiums. I mean, do we really have to wait for a World Cup in Italy again to provide it; it's a shame and if they can be club owned eventually.

It's sad because it's true.
