He's been in magnificent form of late and I'd certainly think about calling him for the WC. He seems to be one of the rare players capable of adding a bit more creativity to this Italy side. Still he needs to be more consistent throughout the season if he's to make that final leap.

I remember when you kept saying that he was mediocre

I think that like Giovinco the talent is certainly there but he has to work very hard on his end product and he has to try to improve his game in various ways to compensate for his diminutive stature. If he does that, he'll be a very good player like Zola. If not, he'll be Giovinco 2.0. He needs to put on some muscle as well.
