I think he does, but first we need to make a +10 pts difference in serie A. Once we make it, our starting line-up in EL will be made of the best available.
 IMO even if we play 3-4 depth players in Serie A home matches we can still easily get the win.

I'd love to see us thrash Fiorentina 3 times in 8 days. We have quite the advantage in playing the first 2 at home. And then we get the good fortune of Genoa and Catania as our next two Serie A fixtures afterwards. So really, we could go all out for the three games against the Viola rats. Seeing as they don't have Rossi, and Gomez is hardly in form after such a long layoff, I'd be massively disappointed if we didn't win the two home matches and at least draw away.

And if we win tomorrow and then beat Fiorentina at home in our league match, I see us having either +13 or +14 on Roma after the that weekend as Roma plays away to Napoli and will be dropping points.

But we also have to win the league game against the purple rats to seal that record that Icardi messed up last season.

A terrible match yesterday and a bad spot for football. Nothing by both teams.

I said here after the scrappy win in Bologna that Roma could lose their 2nd place to Napoli if they continue like this and I confirm it today. They're totally out of stamina and destroyed phisically. Garcia pushed hard to try to stay at our level and this are the consequences.

No surprise that Roma struggled last night.

If Totti and Pjanic are out they have little to offer by way of creativity to break a team down who is sitting deep.

I suspect the several-match ban that will be heading De Rossi's way will probably finish Roma off for this season.

When are you ever surprised, Andy? I've never seen that. :p

Big win for Cagliari against Udinese today.

Though the other teams still have to play today, there is a gap starting to appear between the bottom five and a bunch of teams on 28 points.

The teams on 28 points would have to pick up very few points through the rest of the season to be overtaken by three of those bottom five teams to finish in a relegation place.

I recall being surprised when Inter played Roma in Milan early in the season.

I was amazed that Mazzarri played an attacking gameplan that played right into Roma's hands.

It meant that a game I saw being very tight and with few goals ended up with Roma winning 3-0 (and they were 3-0 up before halftime).

The Sant'Elia?

Think work is still ongoing to get the rest of the ground sorted so that they can have more than just the curva open.

Haven't heard any update on it since Cellino turned his attention to Leeds, though.

Hopefully, just a shame they bought nainggolan for a bit more depth in midfield though

Berardi benched again

Malesani really is a cunt.
Malesani is a shit coach. I never understand why they recycle these old coaches over and over.

The guy said the other day why Berardi didn't play. He responds something like he sucks and we can't wait for him.

When he came on and played well he says, he should always play like that. The guy's got a thousand goals ffs.
