Galliani's strengths were his contacts after so long in the game, and his ability to push through large opportune market moves.

Not really sure how much say he had in Milan's obsession with going for a high profile forward as 80% of their budget as a remedy to every problem, but I suspect he really enjoyed those deals.

After Moggi and Giacinto 'sun shines out of my ass' Facchetti/Moratti, Fester was the last of the old calcio 'dons'. I'll be glad to see the back of him, his comments were biased to the point of stupidity, we know from Calciopoli that he crossed the line and got away with it, and calcio should have got rid of him when it had the chance.
