I remember few seasons ago, a player was running to close down Pirlo, and Cheillini just came across , and rammed his elbow into his face.

Ref didn't see it, but i always wondered why no action was taken against him, after the match.
They usually do in Serie A.

The question doesn't ask 'most violent', it asks 'toughest'. Shouldn't really be any surprise to see Chiellini and Barzagli top 2.
