What about Bonucci?

Wasn't he supposed to get a long ban but ended up being cleared entirely?
He never admitted fixing. In his case it was hear say. Mauri situation was different one. There were some evidence of foul play. But never mind.

He was supposed to get like 4years + and Lazio deducted points but they just got a fine.

DISGRACEFUL!!!

They mention there isn't enough evidence to give him that.

What about Conte?
Why are you surprised? You know Lotito has lot of influence inside federation. Look at the Super cup venue and money distribution from it.

So why is it different?
In Bonucci's case there was only one guy claiming of his involvement and his claims proved to be controversial. The court disqualified them. Investigators in Mauri's case iirc had found some elements of foul play not just other players statements against him. I remember on Italian sites there was his betting ticket where he predicted with 100% accuracy some results in Serie A. I think I posted it here last year. Only betting alone would get him suspension.

With Mauri there were a few things floating around in the background, in the relation to the betting side there were amounts of money going into the accounts of relatives from unknown sources, at least from what I remember.

Quite odd how what looked like a weighted sporting fraud charge all of a sudden becomes failure to report when the verdicts are read out. I'm sure there are perfectly valid reasons, but usually it's by wrapping the case up in red tape and taking a low offer to see it settled quickly.

And that was definitely a genuine betting slip?

I haven't been following this batch of cases closely enough to know precisely what the evidence is, so don't have a strong view on whether Mauri has done anything wrong.

I just don't get the idea that because Conte was found guilty (rightly or wrongly) everyone else must be found guilty of whatever they are accused of in every instance.

Those things were presumably looked into when he was arrested.

If there was anything to them that could be proven to be untoward, I would have expected him to be charged with something by the regular justic system, rather than just the sports justice system.

OUR PRESIDENT
2/08/2013

President has his Milan at his side

MILAN - Twenty-seven years that can be recalled by the Milan fans. Thank-you and only thanks to Silvio Berlusconi.

Today as always, now more than ever: the Milanisti are on the side of President Berlusconi.

How many times has he lifted the thing he loves most. This time, if needed, it will be Milan and the Milanisti that will repay him.

So today, not only thank you President but more importantly, forza President!

I thought Alen or someone edited it but no, it's real.

Maradona refused to even take a DNA/paternity test to verify if he was the father or not, he only did it once the boy was close to 18 or so IIRC. They barely speak or see each other. Fuck both of them.
Scum. Does not have the decency the animals have.
