He reminds me of "giaccherini, with decent dribbeling on the flanks, and a nice cross".
But qualitywise, he's between juve's giac, and italy's giac.
He's a sub to a belgian NT, that has hazard and de bruyne on the flanks
Higuain is more well known internationally than Cavani simply because he played for Madrid.Sometimes top players draws you towards the club.It happened to us as well.
And history ? What history do City,PSG or Monaco have ? You'll soon see plenty of gloryhunters appearing cheering for these teams. Its not always the history that matters. If you continue strengthening your team and continue being relevant in terms of the CL as well as the league, you're always going to find fans.No doubt about it.We could see a shift of power in Italy here from the Milan clubs to Napoli and ADL is simply exploiting the bad financial situation of both Milan teams.
They would've done extremely well if they cement themselves as a Top 3 Italian team. And ofcourse this 'internationalisation' takes time.It wont happen overnight and a lot depends on success too.
Are we talking about the same thing here ?
If you say "internationalisation", i'm thinking increasing profile over the borders, getting more fans, and thus more revenue. Raising awareness for players, is usually done by winning stuff and the wage.
Athletico, good example. Attractive to players, having had aguero and falcao. Winning stuff, such as two euroleagues and a coppa. cemented in the spanish top 3-5 aswel.
But how many fans do they have ? they'll always be in the shadow of madrid, fagcelona and valencia.
City, Psg and monaco ? Well first of all they just trow a shitload of cash to get players, and their fans follow with that. can they do promo tours ? sure, they got the stars for it. internationalisation ? sure, got the players for it.
But
Napoli isnt a rich team. they now sign higuain, fine. But its not the team those other 3 got. they can buy 3 Higuains per year
Cementing a top in italy, they can definatly do. If they can get a good fanbase in italy, and pounce on the pathetic boards of milan teams, yeah they can.
It has happened before, Genk in belgium is an exampe of a team that suddenly won over an entire region with good football, good brand and 2 good generations of players.
It happened in bigger country's aswel. If Napoli can offer italy competiveness in europe aside from juventus, then hell, it should happen.
